Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are no strangers to hyperbole and dramatics on The View. After Behar said Trump was on his way to exterminating illegal immigrants last week, Whoopi claimed that Trump was on his way to criminalizing and exterminating gay people on Wednesday’s show.

Last night, the “Like A Virgin” singer posted a picture of herself -- wearing nothing but a black lace bra and fishnets -- with a statue of the Virgin Mary on her Instagram. The Virgin covered Madonna’s cleavage.

Well, we can’t say we weren’t warned. After the truly awful premiere of HBO’s drug-fueled, underage sex series Euphoria, star Zendaya stated as a preview for the rest of the season, “Let’s just say like, the first episode is the most mild, to be honest.” The June 23 episode “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” proves her right with a long-awaited scene featuring more than a dozen penises.

On Friday, NBC’s Today show abandoned objective facts about biology in favor of pushing propaganda on “gender fluidity,” all as part of the network’s promotion of gay pride month. Not one word of objection was voiced in the five-minute segment as the morning show touted teens “rewriting the rules of gender” and “educating” their parents.   

During his opening monologue Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel trashed President Trump’s supporters as well as the “strict anti-choice laws” in southern states such as Alabama. After weighing in on President Trump’s re-election kickoff, Kimmel unveiled a public service announcement for the pro-abortion movement.

Truly, we’ve hit another new low on television. In just the first hour of HBO’s latest series Euphoria, we have rampant graphic underage sex and drug use, a bizarre defense of minors sending nude photos, and the statutory rape of a trans teenager. Somehow, I ended up longing for the simple porn set-up of The Deuce - at least that show is about adults.
