Whoopi fiercely defended Sanders’ promoting abortion as a way to slow population growth, even claiming that the eugenics movement had nothing to do with minorities or birth control.

Recently, the University of Vermont Medical Center was accused of forcing a nurse to assist with an abortion against her will, a violation of federal conscience rights laws.
