TNT’s Major Crimes continued its all-out assault on the Catholic Church and priests in its Tuesday, November 24 episode, “Sanctuary City: Part 3.” They also kept up with their caricature of deranged, gun-toting, right-wing white males who oppose illegal immigration to the point of wanting illegals dead, and, for good measure, took a quick jab at homeschooling, too.

USA’s Damnation premiered last week with the completely unoriginal message of how communism is a good idea (spoiler alert: it isn’t). This time around, we only continue the downward spiral of slamming capitalism for a wide audience. As an added bonus, we gain another reminder of how rich people are terrible.

Blackish is always far too willing to put social commentary ahead of actual entertainment, and the November 14 episode "Please Don't Feed the Animals" is no exception. This week's social justice topic that took the place of comedy? Issues of race and incarceration. 

Anybody remember Fox’s The Mick? She reached new heights of vulgarity last week (outside of gratuitous nudity, of course) and this week she doubled down on the anti-Trump rhetoric in “honor” of the one-year anniversary of the election.
