DC Universe and CW’s Stargirl has been a pleasant surprise over the summer. Unlike our other female superheroes, Stargirl managed to make it almost an entire season without bringing up anything political. Unfortunately, that came to an end in the latest episode, though probably not in the way any liberal fan would think.

Even though he's a member of the conservative Mormon Church, Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young is very San Francisco. Young just bucked his LDS church and his alma mater, Brigham Young University, by tweeting support for LGBTQ students at the school where people are protesting the church's opposition to same-sex relationships.

British actor Jeremy Irons knows his position as jury president of the Berlinale film festival would be compromised if he stuck to his moderate views on abortion and gay marriage, so of course he corrected the record as soon as the event began.
