Univision never wastes an opportunity to remind us that it has an agenda beyond immigration. The network's coverage of a recent court ruling proves that abortion is also high on Univision's list of pet issues.

The Monday morning following the Oscars on ABC was filled with excited reports on the biggest Hollywood awards show of the year. But over on ABC’s Good Morning America, the news team seemed just as excited about the anti-Trump tone of the night.

The 89th Academy Awards, aka The Oscars, was broadcast by ABC live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night, hosted by late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. As with other award shows of late, politics reared its ugly liberal head and showed us exactly why Hollywood is often referred to derisively as "La La Land."

For a variety of reasons, churches are losing millennials in their pews. Just how degraded is the language we use in public discourse? Consider: an anchor on a major news network didn’t bat an eye Friday when a guest claimed it is a “civil rights issue” when a fraction of a percent of students don’t want to pee the way nature intended. 

With all the social issues plaguing our newsfeeds, abortion remains at the forefront. For the second time this season, NBC’s Superstore tackles the subject. On Thursday’s episode, “Wellness Fair,” a false rumor is spread around the staff that fellow store employee Sandra is pregnant and is debating getting an abortion.

CPAC, currently going on just outside the Beltway in National Harbor, Maryland, has changed along with the conservative movement, believes Matthew Yglesias. Perhaps you should spend the half-hour buying lottery tickets rather than watching another weekly lecture on the show - you’ll have a better chance of getting something good.
