Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King, introduced Oprah on Monday, to reveal the next book club selection: Michelle Obama’s new autobiography. 

CBS This Morning co-hosts on Monday fawned over the new president of Planned Parenthood, cheering “yay!” that she appeared on the show. The hosts also lamented that the organization, responsible for three million abortions, had been “politicized.” The journalists also allowed Dr. Leana Wen to repeat the mostly bogus claim that the abortion provider offers “cancer screenings.” 

On CBS This Morning: Saturday, the show's anchors cheered on NFL players, inspired by Colin Kaepernick, who spent time advocating liberal causes during this year's elections.

In this latest installment of Entertainment’s Winners & Losers, a network TV show actually acknowledging a Christian audience, the cancellation of a Star Wars spinoff, and one of the most recognized names in children’s television continuing its sharp turn to the left.

But in the process, they celebrated the election of Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. The problem? She’s been accused of anti-Semitism because of her anti-Israel stance.

Two years after he compared President Trump’s victory to the defeat of Civil War Reconstruction, CBS News contributor and Slate columnist Jamelle Bouie was back on the eyeball network to offer takes on the 2018 midterms, most notably insinuating that the victories of Republicans in states like Florida and Georgia weren’t exactly legit because of — wait for it — “voter suppression.”

The live, election night Late Show With Stephen Colbert substituted comedy for smearing Republicans as KKK-loving racists. This included one of Colbert's guests insisting that Donald Trump would wake up on Wednesday thinking that racism and hate work.
