In a ceremony at the White House Rose Garden Monday, President Trump awarded golf star Tiger Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his contributions to the sport and his historic career. But members of the liberal media groaned because the two men had been friends for years. NBC Nightly News went so far as to have one of their analysts claim Trump had cheapened the award.

Early on Monday, the news became official that co-host Norah O’Donnell is leaving CBS This Morning to become the new anchor of the Evening News. Also departing is co-host John Dickerson. CBS This Morning on Monday again allowed Gayle King interview Cory Booker. King and the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate are personal friends and the co-host has been a supporter in the past. Booker jokingly worried he would get “tougher questions.” But instead, King simply wondered if his gun control plan could pass and if Booker will marry his actress girlfriend. 

It became official on Monday as Norah O’Donnell has been announced the new anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News. Discussing it on CBS This Morning,  a clearly excited O’Donnell enthused, “This is a great moment... CBS’s SEAL Team must not be listening to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The series has now aired not one but two episodes criticizing the Department of Veterans Affairs. Even this show about the best special operators in the world realizes that the government isn’t the best solution for everything.

Stephen Colbert couldn’t resist. Former Vice President Joe Biden finally announced his 2020 presidential campaign last week. Biden joined a crush of fellow Democrats hoping to unseat President Donald Trump next year. Naturally, The Late Show host had to talk about it. And, given the program’s leftist slant, Colbert didn’t find much fault in Biden’s video announcement.

On Friday morning, as the networks informed viewers that Facebook has banned several controversial political groups and individuals from having an account, ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC all failed to inform viewers that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has been tied to the left, even while the same shows made a point of using terms like "far-right" to describe others affected by the ban.

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert devoted his opening monologue Wednesday night to trashing Attorney General Bill Barr. Throughout the course of the monologue, Colbert referred to Barr as a “political call girl” and praised the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee for their questioning of Barr earlier in the day.

The co-hosts of CBS This Morning on Friday eagerly plotted strategy with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar. Lorre hints that Trump may have been injured by such forceps when being born, and that he may even have syphilis.

After his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, congressional Democrats and the liberal media were in sync as they accused Attorney General William Barr of lying to Congress. During Thursday’s evening newscasts, ABC and CBS seemed excited by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) standing before the press and calling Barr a criminal.

The journalists on CBS This Morning, Thursday, were excited by the Democratic grilling of Attorney General William Barr. After speculating about whether Barr would be held in contempt of Congress, analyst Rikki Klieman praised Klobuchar’s attacks on the AG as very effective: “I thought Amy Klobuchar gets an A-plus because she had a goal in her questions and she got to it.”
