CBS’s mini-series The Red Line is still racking up those intersectionality points at the expense of the truth. If you needed any more proof, just look at the most recent episode outright depicting alt-right white men attacking peaceful Black Lives Matter protestors.

One of the two shooters at a high school in Colorado hated Christians, Republicans and praised Barack Obama. Yet none of the networks have, so far, covered his angry social media posts. This is in contrast to other occasions when they have tried to pin violence on conservative ideology. 

A group of liberal professional women trying to disrupt the Trump administration at any cost sink to a new low in the May 9 episode of CBS’s All-Access streaming show The Good Fight. In “The One Where the Sun Comes Out,” the dangerous practice of swatting is used as payback for President Trump’s immigration policy and Trump senior policy advisor Stephen Miller appears to be the target.

MSNBC host and Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber appeared on The Late Show Tuesday night. Not surprisingly, the Mueller probe came up. After Melber and host Stephen Colbert analyzed and discussed the prospects for impeachment, Colbert shockingly pushed back on Melber’s claim of objectivity: “come on…you guys bang a drum over there sometimes.”

On Wednesday night Highlands Ranch High School students and parents walked out of a vigil (meant to honor victims and heroes of the shooting) after politicians and gun control activists politicized the event. Slapping defenders of unborn life with the “anti-abortion [rights]” label, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News were aghast that a newly signed Georgia law banned abortions after a baby’s heartbeat was detected. Decrying how the law “shreds” Roe v. Wade, both news outlets were fearful of the “conservative” Supreme Court upholding such laws.

CBS This Morning on Tuesday actually covered the heartbeat bill working its way through Georgia’s state house, deeming it a “controversial” and “restrictive” attempt at stopping abortion. This same network offered no coverage when New York state legalized late-term abortion (and certainly didn’t find the bill “controversial.”)
