April 30th, 2018 4:31 PM
On Monday, all three network shows recited the same liberal script as they bemoaned a caravan of over 100 migrants from Central America being blocked from entering the United States illegally. The Border Patrol simply doing its job was portrayed as a cruel act that created a “desperate situation” and “crisis at the border.”

'Madam Secretary:' Climate Change Is 'Existential Threat of Our Time'
Culture
April 30th, 2018 1:42 AM
Climate change has not been a new topic for CBS’s Madam Secretary, but it has provided some unintentionally hilarious results. The latest take sadly is not as amusing as it buries natural gas in the State Department's crusade to save the planet from the “existential threat" of global warming.

April 29th, 2018 10:50 PM
It continues to be very clear that CBS’s The Good Fight can only be enjoyed by liberals. The constant Trump-bashing is one thing, but the show delights in portraying Republicans as evil idiots while Democrats are portrayed as America’s reasonable saviors. Sunday’s episode, “Day 464,” focuses on the allegations in the Steele Dossier that Trump acquired the services of prostitutes in a Ritz-Carlton…

April 27th, 2018 1:54 PM
In what should sadly be to the shock of no one, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC all refused on Friday morning to cover the hard-hitting but fair Fox News Channel interview of new author and former FBI Director James Comey by Special Report host Bret Baier.

All three networks on Friday trumpeted the “historic” breakthrough in North Korea, touting “peace at last!” In total, ABC, CBS and NBC devoted 26 minutes and 10 seconds of coverage to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visiting South Korea. Yet, of that time, a scant 76 seconds (all on CBS) was allowed for pondering what credit Donald Trump deserves.

Business
April 27th, 2018 11:06 AM
CNBC’s on-air editor Rick Santelli reacted to the April consumer confidence numbers positively, but the same night ABC, CBS and NBC evening news programs all ignored the latest update of consumer attitudes toward the economy, as did their Spanish-language counterparts, Univision and Telemundo. “Some breaking news: Consumer confidence, we are looking for a read on April and the number is 128.7,…

CNN, MSNBC Barely Touch Murdered Cops, But Do Tout Meek Mill Release
April 27th, 2018 8:30 AM
Over the past couple of days, as FNC and the broadcast networks have informed viewers of two separate attacks on police officers that have left two dead, MSNBC has completely ignored the tragic events while CNN has buried its coverage early in the morning. By contrast, MSNBC spent more than 15 minutes across four different shows celebrating the release of rapper Meek Mill, and CNN also gave the…

April 26th, 2018 9:38 PM
In a bipartisan letter sent to New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez on Thursday, the Senate Ethics Committee issued a scathing admonishment against him for “knowingly and repeatedly accept[ing] gifts of significant value” and “fail[ing] to publicly disclose certain gifts as required by Senate Rule and federal law.” As often occurred during Menendez’s bribery trial last year, to which…

April 25th, 2018 12:27 AM
CBS Evening News ended Tuesday’s program with a report highlighting that night’s state dinner at the White House and the behind-the-scenes efforts of First Lady Melania Trump to pull it off. But in the middle of the segment, reporter Jan Crawford pointed out what many considered a blatant double standard from the media, in that Mrs. Trump has been on the cover far fewer American magazines when…

Nets Spent 28 Minutes on Royal Baby, Still Silent on Dying Toddler

April 24th, 2018 5:37 PM
If the networks can spend nearly a half hour on the birth of one baby, why can’t they spare one second for a dying toddler? Duchess of Cambridge Catherine (Kate) Middleton gave birth to her third child with Prince William on April 23. News programming on ABC, CBS and NBC devoted more than 28 minutes to the joyous news. That’s wonderful. What wasn’t so wonderful was that the very same programs…

The Federal Reserve and the Conference Board both issued positive progress reports about the U.S. economy last week. Neither got a peep from the broadcast networks on those days. In fact, on April 18 and 19, the evening news broadcasts on ABC, CBS and NBC included just one economic story — and it wasn’t about either of those positive economic updates
