When you set out to watch a show with a name like I Love Dick, Amazon Prime’s newest streaming series which debuted Friday, May 12, you should already be prepared for the shock value that’s inevitable with such a title. But nothing can truly prepare you for the vile filth that this show assaults you with.

The media have consistently demonstrated their nearly monolithic pro-LGBT slant and this week, USA Today's website used its weekly podcast recommendations to promote LGBT-related content. Published under their “ENTERTAiN THiS” section, the May 29 article (and updated May 30) wa titled, “Podcast picks ahead of Pride Month.”

As previously demonstrated in this space, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC are relentless in attacking conservatives, Christians, and President Trump. Here’s the thing: It’s not just in their morning and evening newscasts, but also their primetime scripted programs.

On Thursday, ABC cancelled the Tim Allen sitcom Last Man Standing, which had been running on the network for six seasons. During the 2012 election, ABC censored a joke on the show calling then-president Barack Obama a communist. And now ABC has cancelled Last Man Standing allegedly because of a dispute by the show’s distributor 20th Century Fox.  

Awards once meant something. There was a time not that long ago when they were given in recognition of important accomplishments. Today, we tend to value celebrity over steady achievement. Fame is paramount. It matters little how one attains it. The Kardashians are just one of many examples.

It’s fair to say most people missed the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards from March 11. That being said, the show was so trashy and off the charts, it made last year look tame by comparison.
