Songwriter Donovan Woods feels as though country music needs a progressive, pro-LGBTQ update and that fans just need to put up with it. He hopes his new pro-gay music video will get the ball rolling. Might I suggest he find a new line of work.

Martin Rogers is probably a nice man, and he seems sincere when he writes in USA Today, “Tolerance and understanding of the LGBT community still has some way to travel, but isn’t there enough of it for there to at least be a conversation about new Olympic events allowing two men and two women to skate in tandem?”

Eat your hearts out all you bigots and start celebrating homosexual Olympians, writes The Washington Post columnist Jerry Brewer in a 1,300-word "PSA" for LGBT activists. Homosexual U.S. Olympic athletes Gus Kenworthy (right) and Adam Rippon (at left in photograph) are now free men and it's wonderful, not controversial, Brewer writes. If you disagree with him, you have a serious problem.

Just like she did last week, ABC anchor Amy Robach tried to bring left-wing activism into her coverage of the Winter Olympic Games on Good Morning America, February 12. From Pyeongchang, South Korea, Robach sat down with Olympic athlete Adam Rippon and immediately asked what message the openly gay skater he had for Vice President Mike Pence.

On Thursday's The View show, during a discussion of reports that gay Olympic skater Adam Rippon had turned down the opportunity to meet with Vice President Mike Pence because of his views on gay rights, co-host Whoopi Goldberg at one point defended the decision by suggesting that meeting with Pence would be like a Jew having a meeting with a Nazi.  

Saturday afternoon, Christian Toto at NewsBusters chronicled how Jimmy Kimmel has gone from being an "aw, shucks" comedian to "a hard-left comic" who believes (Kimmel's words) that "every talk show host is a liberal ... because it requires a level of intelligence." That sad, ignorant transformation was on display Friday night, as Kimmel attempted and failed to make a genuine point in a restaurant…

As the Winter Olympics kicked off in Pyeongchang, South Korea, ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday featured a report from Amy Robach that highlighted how Vice President Mike Pence, leading the U.S. delegation to the games, was “facing criticism today from openly gay freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy.”

More controversy has erupted between Mike Pence and another openly gay U.S. athlete at this winter’s Olympic games, all in the name of tolerance and homosexual acceptance. It’s one small step for gays, and one giant, exasperated “Oh, shut up!” for the rest of normal America.

Olympic freeskier Gus Kenworthy is confused as to why a sitting U.S. vice president is the head of America’s Olympic Delegation for the 2018 Winter games, and he told Ellen Degeneres that Mike Pence was a “strange choice” for the position.

Just when you thought Hollywood couldn’t sink any lower in their depravity and twisted attempts at humor, especially when it comes to child actors, along comes Tuesday’s episode of TBS’s The Detour, “The Stop.” Which were my thoughts exactly as I watched. “Please, for the literal love of God, make it stop.”

Will & Grace really hates Mike Pence, that's nothing new. Usually, though, the show is suggesting that he hates gay people, not that he himself is secrely gay. That seemed to change in the February 1 episode "Staten Island Fairy." 

Last week, I mentioned that all did not bode well for traditional values in TNT’s latest series The Alienist, and the second episode already confirms my worst fears. We have gone from implying “progressive” behaviors to actually showing them in a way that has me giving up my faith in human decency. After all, it’s clear that The Alienist gave up on that a long time ago.

To many fans’ pleasure, TNT’s latest show The Alienist finally premiered after years of production stalls. Based on the 1994 novel of the same name, the show is poised to add another outlet of gore, misplaced moral messaging, and perhaps the blandest depiction of Theodore Roosevelt you’ll ever see. All of this coming from the first of a ten-episode season.
