Four very different films hit theaters over the past few weeks. Consider:  A sequel to one of the most talked about documentaries in recent memory, an artsy horror film featuring an Oscar-winning stunner, a B-movie disaster directed by a man who knowns that genre by heart, and a belated sequel to one of the most iconic science fiction films of all time.

The New York Times isn’t just accused of political bias, it’s science bias too. The paper is being sued for libel by a university professor after an article about academics and food lobbies, according to The Gainesville Sun.

Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Jeff Goodell seems to have trouble with logic in addition to his disdain for coal power. In, “Scott Pruitt Can’t Stop the Death of Big Coal,” Goodell claimed that without the EPA’s Clean Power Plan — an Obama “accomplishment” — coal is still “a dead industry walking.”

CW’s Supergirl has now had almost five extra months to come to terms with the Trump Presidency. At this point, the show could either move on like the rest of the country or double down in disgrace. President Trump was in Puerto Rico on Tuesday to tour the storm-ravaged capital city of San Juan and some of the surrounding suburbs. He met with local officials and residents while helping to hand out much-needed supplies. But that didn’t seem to be good enough for the liberal networks of ABC and CBS. Both bemoaned Trump’s visit and touted those who called it an elaborate photo-op.
