On Wednesday, correspondents on ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning breathed a collective sigh of relief as they reported that Democratic congressional candidates had not been shut out of key House races after Tuesday’s jungle primary in California, in which only the two top voter getters, regardless of party, advance to the general election in November.  

The whole purpose of the Roseanne revival was to bring some balance to the more left-wing fare being offered to television audiences. Ironically, as ABC rushes to find a replacement for their now scrapped Roseanne show, talks are apparently in session to create a spinoff focused on the character of Darlene, without pesky Trumpish talking points. 

Tuesday on ABC’s The View, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was the special guest at the hot topics table, and he didn’t hold back from showing the liberal ladies just how hypocritical some of their views on President Trump were.  

On Friday's edition of The View, Sunny Hostin unleashed an angry tirade about people criticizing Samantha Bee instead of Roseanne Barr and Donald Trump. She reprised the full Kanye West attack on George W. Bush during a Hurricane Katrina telethon: "He doesn't care about African-Americans in this country!"

The highest court in the land sided with Phillips because the Colorado Civil Rights Commission subjected him to what could be argued was anti-religious bigotry. But despite the historic nature of the ruling, broadcast network news outlets ABC and NBC were more relieved that the ruling had a “limited” scope and seemingly only applied to this one case.

The “booming jobs market” got very different treatment from each of the three broadcast networks as unemployment dropped to 3.8 percent. While ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows all reported the “stronger than expected” numbers, NBC Nightly News spent more than four times as long complaining about a tweet from President Trump ahead of the jobs numbers and fears of a trade war that “threaten”…

Fast-talking Georgetown professor and New York Times’ contributor Michael Eric Dyson was the guest on ABC’s The View, June 4, where he proceeded to “educate” the panel and viewers about the differences between bigots and racists, and how Republicans were seemingly both.  

In light of Roseanne Barr’s racist Tuesday morning tweet, ABC cancelled the revival of its 80’s/90’s sitcom Roseanne, starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman, after only one season despite it having fetched 18 million viewers for its premiere and been renewed for another season.

When it came to reporting the policy change that evening, ABC and NBC appeared put off by the development. They both seemed to suggest that players kneeling wasn’t unpopular with fans until President Trump spoke out and pushed the inaccurate claim the players weren’t consulted. And neither spoke with players supportive of the decision.

Just when it seemed that Michael Moore had finally left the national stage for good, the liberal filmmaker and activist took advantage of comments made this week by comedian Roseanne Barr and President Donald Trump to place the public spotlight squarely back on himself. After airing a full report on Friday’s Good Morning America about the controversy swirling around left-wing Full Frontal host Samantha Bee over her vile attack on First Daughter Ivanka Trump, ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos and 10Ten Media’s Larry Hackett reacted to the story by blaming President Trump for creating an environment of incivility and wondering if Bee was already “out of the woods.”
