LGBTQ activist Tim Gill wants to “punish the wicked” who oppose gay marriage. And part of his agenda includes giving $5.25 million to 25 media groups between 2003 and 2015. Gill told Rolling Stone “we’re going to punish the wicked” on the “religious right” as part of a shift to focus on nondiscrimination. According to Rolling Stone, Gill is “the nation’s most powerful force for LGBTQ rights.”

There’s a new Star Trek series in which it is forbidden for actors or writers to reference God (ironic, considering the only explanation for yet another Star Trek spinoff is punishment for man’s innate sinfulness.)

Well, I’ll say this about Spike’s The Mist, I was only half-right about my recent prediction. Instead of a molesting priest, we get the fanatic of a violent one threatening heretics. I would say that’s a pleasant surprise, but what we get is hardly a pleasant substitute. Come to think of it, it’s not even a surprise.

Season two of AMC’s Preacher has been relatively quiet if only for the fact that violence and crude behavior seem to be a weekly occurrence on the show. But now, the most recent episode gives us a reminder of about how staunchly anti-religious it can be by going after the Good Book itself: the Bible. In the episode of VH1’s Daytime Divas that aired on June 19 titled “Blind Items,” more time was devoted to portraying the conservative Christian show host as a pervert. In last week’s episode the fact that Heather (Fiona Gubelmann) and her race car driver husband participate in S&M while Heather recites Bible verses was introduced. Apparently, this is to be a continuing theme.
