After a public outcry arose after last week’s airing of “The Amazing Race” in Hanoi, Vietnam, which many deemed as “anti-American,” CBS has apologized.

Before last night’s episode, show host Phil Keoghan gave this apology on behalf of CBS:

“Parts of last Sunday's episode, filmed in Vietnam, were insensitive to a group that is very important to us -- our nation's veterans. We want to apologize to veterans – particularly those who served in Vietnam – as well as to their families and any viewers who were offended by the broadcast. All of us here have the most profound respect for the men and women who fight for our country.”

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) are fuming because they found out that two Fox News anchors attended the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on March 16.

The GLAAD Media Awards, which are given in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco each year, celebrate “outstanding images of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community” in the media. GLAAD boasts of over 5,000 attendees during last year’s show.

The Media Research Center’s Culture and Media Institute, along with the Parent’s Television Council, slammed A&E this week for its gruesome new show “Bates Motel,” which premiered this past Monday. The very first episode contained a graphic rape scene and implied incest. And A&E’s rating board thinks this is appropriate and healthy for 14-year-olds to watch.

The PTC has condemned “Bates Motel” for its sympathetic portrayal of a psychopath and its graphic violence in a show rated safe for kids to watch. CMI also wrote about the violence and attempted to get a statement from the network defending the TV-14 rating. A&E not respond, perhaps too busy preparing a press release in which network President Bob DeBitetto boasted of the 4.6 million viewers the premiere received and applauded it as, “the very best of quality storytelling” while being “edgy and provocative.” It’s disturbing to find out that obscene rape scenes are “quality” entertainment and cool and “edgy” to A&E.

Communist propaganda and downed U.S. aircraft? That’s entertaining.

Sexy underwear might be on your 13-year-old daughter’s wish list this Spring. Popular lingerie chain Victoria’s Secret recently launched a spring line aimed for pre-teens and young teenagers. The risqué brand is no stranger to using sex to sell, but this new move is causing many parents to question whether this is appropriate for young girls.

The company currently has a line called “Pink” aimed for the college market, but this new campaign called “Bright, Young Things” would be aimed at a much younger crowd. SF Gate reports that the collection includes, “lace back cheeksters with the word “Wild” on the back, to a lace trim thong with “Call Me” on the front, to green-and-white polka-dot hipsters reading “Feeling Lucky?”

Southern Poverty Law Center spokesman and other liberals demonize conservatives.

Editor’s Note: Some of the language and links might be offensive.

Austin is known for its motto, “Keep Austin Weird.” This week, an estimated 27,000 people will come to South by Southwest (“SXSW”) to try and prove it.  The annual interactive media and technology festival will host big name liberals like former Vice President Al Gore, the Bush-hating band Green Day and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, as well panel discussions and films about gays, pornography, sex with minors and drag queens.

In short, it’s a celebration of things liberals love.

Facebook revealed it's bias again this week by allowing graphic images of nudity on a pro-abortion page to stay up amid complaints of it violating the social network’s “community standards.”

Supreme Court justices traditionally wear black robes to hear arguments. Unless they’re hearing – and potentially agreeing with – arguments lefties don’t like. Then they’re decked out in white sheets.

That’s how conservative justices were painted in former Newsweek reporter Robert Parry’s hysterical February 28 article at unhinged liberal website Alternet. In “The Neo-Confederate Supreme Court Gearing Up to Restore White Rule Over America,” race-obsessed “journalist” sputtered that “The Court’s striking down Section Five of the Voting Rights Act will mean that jurisdictions with a history of racial discrimination in voting – mostly in the Old Confederacy – will be free to impose new obstacles to voting by African-Americans, Hispanics and other minorities without first having to submit the changes to a federal court.”

Moonbat lefty site frets Scalia and co. are ‘gearing up to restore white rule over America.’

Abortion is often a polarizing issue, but even the average pro-choicer would agree that it is a morally difficult issue to deal with. Not the “Shiny Happy Ladies” of Jezebel.

Here’s a delightful item from the tolerant left. Yesterday, Seattle left-wing alternative newspaper The Stranger wrote an attack piece on Catholic healthcare so bigoted it would warm the heart of a 1920s Klansman or 1850s Know-Nothing.

More than 200,0A similar march also happened in France in January, where at least 340,000 Parisians protested against a new law that would allow gay couples to marry and adopt children. Not surprisingly, this event was ignored by the same major news broadcasters.

Editor’s Note: This story includes language some may deem offensive.

Dan Savage is at it again. The foul-mouthed, bigoted host of MTV’s sex advice show “Savage U” and internationally syndicated columnist of “Savage Love” wrote this headline last Monday concerning the pope’s retirement:

“That Motherfucking Power-Hungry, Self-Aggrandized Bigot In the Stupid Fucking Hat Announces His Retirement.” No major media outlet reported that comment, including MSNBC and CNN where Savage has often appeared.

Foul, anti-Catholic comment greets pope’s retirement.

Lefty site praises sonograms for women who want to give birth; calls them ‘invasive’ for women who have abortion.

Playtex campaign’s cheap sex jokes fall flat.

Not sure how to celebrate Valentine's Day this year? Left-wing groups and media such as The Sierra Club, Planned Parenthood and The Huffington Post have overtaken the holiday to promote their culture of sexual promiscuity and wacky environmentalism.

From universities and medical clinics offering condom lollipops and free STD testing (and hosting plays about lesbian rape) and "green" websites dictating how "ethically" bought chocolate and flowers can save the planet, to disturbing LGBTQIA-themed gifts, the eco-friendly, gay-friendly, sex-obsessed left has plenty of ideas for how you should celebrate the holiday of love.

How the Left likes to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Why on earth would the Boy Scouts be reluctant to accept gays?
