Time is everything, especially when it comes to understanding the media’s priorities. At the end of January, there were two marches the same weekend both claiming to stand for women. But the network coverage was anything but similar.

Just when you think the journalistic standards at the nation’s top Spanish-language television networks couldn’t get any lower, along comes Telemundo with a new promo for its news division  that editorializes with a sweeping generalization about 2017 being “a very difficult year for immigrants.”

Broadway musical star Lin-Manuel Miranda continues to inject abject, over-the-top partisan politics into his post-Hurricane María relief efforts for Puerto Rico, and the liberal media just keep lapping it up, failing to challenge or call him out on any of his demonstrably false, hyper-partisan statements.
