With the Georgia Senate races wrapping up on Tuesday, CNN decided to do some PR for Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock. On Saturday’s CNN Newsroom, anchor Fredricka Whitfield brought on Warnock to dismiss attacks on Warnock as taking him “out of context” and to portray the “man of the cloth” as being too good of a Christian to fire back at his opponents.

On his CNN show, State of the Union, host Jake Tapper twice tells Jon Ossoff, a Democrat candidate for Senate from Georgia, that his accusation that Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler campaigned with a Klansman is "not true." 

David Bozell, the son of MRC founder and president Brent Bozell, called me the other day to bring my attention to a USA Today “fact check” that blocks a meme on the Facebook page of their group For America. It’s a humorous CNN-mocking meme of only 15 words:

On New Day, CNN host Fareed Zakaria says that the "dirty little secret is that....the Trump Administration was pretty tough on the Russians. They armed Ukraine, they armed the Poles. They extended NATO operations and exercises in ways that even the Obama Administration had not done." 

In the final week of 2020, as the media have covered the disturbing case of an unarmed black man, Andre Hill, who was recently killed by a police officer in Columbus, Ohio, CNN and CBS have both presented misleading statistics on the number of African Americans who have been killed by police officers since George Floyd's death from May.

While every President has their critics in the press, the Trump presidency has been unique in that a massive percentage of the media — hosts, columnists, commentators, contributors, anchors and working reporters — openly mock and disparage the President of the United States, often to the cheers of their brethren.

On Tuesday morning, Fox News viewers got to see that, for the first time, President Donald Trump has come in first place in Gallup's annual poll of "most admired man" of the year. But in contrast with how journalists swooned over former President Barack Obama the last time he came in first place, the other networks have so far ignored the finding.

On CNN's New Day, CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner says, "many of us have thought over the last several months that we were only going to get this pandemic under control with regime change." Regime change is a term that typically refers to the forceful overthrow of a foreign government.

Not only was CNN crucial in helping to downplay New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) mass slaughter of nursing home residents earlier this year after packing coronavirus patients inside such facilities, but they spent Wednesday decrying Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ (R) call to prioritize elderly residents of his state so they can get vaccinated against the same virus.

On Tuesday, both networks demonstrated their role as sycophants for the Biden-Harris administration by gushing over Kamala Harris receiving her COVID vaccine, the nurse who was selected to administer it, and where Harris went to get it while downplaying her anti-vaccine position during the campaign (simply because of who's occupied the White House).

Over the past week, CNN has played several year-in-review montages, on Monday's CNN Newsroom it was time to review the year in media. According to Brian Stelter, if 2020 proved anything, it is was that the country is split into those who get accurate information from news sources like CNN and those who get disinformation from places like Fox.

CNN went absolutely metaphor-mad in its trashing of President Trump. During the 6 am hour of New Day on Monday, it began with Toluse Olorunnipa of the Washington Post describing Trump as like "a hostage negotiation, where President Trump wants to be both the kidnapper, and the hero who comes in to save the hostage."
