Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch is “to the right,” the “far right.” CBS and The Washington Post on Wednesday conducted a collective freak out over the possibility that the new judge really is in the mold of the late Antonin Scalia. The two outlets collectively used the terms “right” or “far right” eight times. 

The snide journalists at CBS on Tuesday seem to wonder why Republicans are intentionally hurting the gullible voters who support them. The hosts of CBS This Morning talked to Shannon Pettypiece of Bloomberg about the Senate GOP’s plan to repeal ObamaCare. On Monday morning, even rumors about the possibility of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring sent the network morning shows into panic mode. Reporters wrung their hands over the potential that President Trump could replace the high court’s “swing vote” and make it “solidly conservative for decades.”

Are the long, liberal knives of journalists out for Nancy Pelosi? The Democratic Minority Leader on Monday appeared on CBS This Morning and endured repeated questions about whether she is up to the job of facing down Donald Trump and the Republicans. After playing a montage of anti-Pelosi Democrats, Charlie Rose reminded, “You've been losing special elections, four of them." 

So much for those calls for civility in the wake of the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise. On Thursday, Democratic Senator and progressive hero Elizabeth Warren disgustingly accused the Republicans of funding their health care bill with “blood money” and  “paying for tax cuts with American lives.”  Surely the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) networks would condemn such language in this new era of civility…

The journalists at CBS and NBC have found a new Donald Trump “outrage” to hyperventilate over: The President drove his golf cart onto a green at one of the courses he owns. This, according to CBS This Morning guest host David Westin, is a “mortal sin.” Matt Lauer insisted he was “gasping” over video of Trump. 

On Friday, while both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America provided full reports on left-wing actor Johnny Depp joking about assassinating President Trump, CBS This Morning could only manage 45 seconds of air time out of its two-hour broadcast to mention the latest outrageous celebrity outburst. 

Washington Post journalist Ed O’Keefe on Wednesday attempted to spin away yet another loss for Democrats in a congressional election. Appearing on CBS This Morning, he even insisted that the GOP going four-for-four in congressional races is a potentially bad “sign” for 2018. Talk about fake news. 

On Tuesday, the network morning shows celebrated Democrats engaging in a partisan stunt on Senate floor late into Monday night as they accused Republicans of supposedly crafting health care reform legislation “shrouded in secrecy.” None of the broadcasts bothered to point out the blatant hypocrisy of Democrats whining about the process after they themselves used secretive tactics to shove through…

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Tuesday examined the lack of civility in America and, somehow, managed to avoid discussing the attempted slaughter of Republican members of Congress by a rage-filled Bernie Sanders supporter. Trying to murder your political opponents would seem to be a rather uncivil action.

Two days after a Bernie Sanders-supporting, Republican-hating gunman attempted to slaughter GOP members of Congress, CBS This Morning’s Gayle King on Friday asked Elizabeth Warren if “both sides” were responsible for the heated climate. The co-hosts also failed to press the liberal Democrat on some of her angry rants. 

Talk about fake news. At Thursday’s congressional baseball game, there were a number of touching tributes to the victims and the heroes. This included a prayer for the still-critically injured Congressman Steve Scalise. Yet, CNN’s Twitter page told viewers that only Democrats were involved in the prayer.
