For days now, former Vice President Joe Biden has been buried underneath accusations of inappropriate physical contact with at least two women and a pile of highly questionable photos of him touching women who appeared to be uncomfortable. But have no fear, Democrats are sprinting to help their colleague and the CBS Evening News is willing to give them a platform.

During an interview with Washington State Governor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Jay Inslee on Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell thanked him for focusing his campaign entirely on climate change. In return, Inslee praised NBC weatherman Al Roker for traveling to Alaska and producing a series of alarmist reports about the issue.

Over the years NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell has become known for her die-hard loyalty to the Clinton’s. But during Monday’s edition of NBC Nightly News, she showed a similar defensive attitude for former Vice President Joe Biden, who was facing accusations of inappropriate touching from at least two women.

Following Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan’s interview with self-described Democratic socialist Bernie Sanders, New York Times columnist and CBS News political analyst Jamelle Bouie dismissed the idea that Sanders wants to radically transform America into a socialist country before delivering a public service announcement on behalf of a “very, very robust welfare state.”

The networks on Monday framed Joe Biden’s response to charges of unwanted touching by women as “fighting back” now that “standards have changed” on what used to be considered his “harmless behavior.”  ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the accusations from Lucy Flores, but only CBS This Morning led with the story. 

On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski defends Joe Biden against an accusation made against him by Lucy Flores, who says that at a political event in 2014, Biden nuzzled her in a way that made her feel "uneasy and gross." Mika suggests Flores misconstrued Biden's behavior, and that he only meant to be "nice" and "kind."

How far will the liberal media go to boost Beto O'Rourke's Hispanic street cred? In an article published today, the Associated Press wrote that in a speech he gave in his hometown of El Paso: "O'Rourke also spoke at length in his native Spanish, eliciting loud and sustained cheers."

Yashar Ali of HuffPost published an eye-opening thread on Twitter Friday accusing NBC/MSNBC political editor Dafna Linzer of "bullying him" on behalf of the Democratic National Committee to delay an "innocuous" debate-schedule scoop he'd been given.

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough says: "[Republicans] are hiding behind Donald Trump's own Roy Cohn, William Barr. Yeah, I said it. CNN has been hosting a series of town hall events for 2020 Democrats and it was New Jersey Senator Cory Booker’s turn Wednesday night. He received a very friendly welcome from CNN host Don Lemon, who gossiped with him about his personal life and was even caught congratulating him on a hot mic, as the network cut to commercial.

In a softball interview with failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell laughably fretted that the potential 2020 presidential contender wasn’t a “darling of the media” like Beto O’Rourke and the other Democratic “white men” who had already announced.
