What on earth is Joss Whedon smoking? The filmmaker behind Marvel’s The Avengers, sci fi TV series Firefly, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer posted an unhinged and downright strange assessment of the current state of American politics, insisting that despite all their flaws, Democrats are at least trying to do the right thing while Republicans are “murderous” and “poisonous.”
