Fake Feminist Avengers Director Tweets GOP is ‘Poisonous’ ‘Murderous’ ‘Misogynist’

What on earth is Joss Whedon smoking?

The filmmaker behind Marvel’s The Avengers, sci fi TV series Firefly, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer posted an unhinged and downright strange assessment of the current state of American politics, insisting that despite all their flaws, Democrats are at least trying to do the right thing while Republicans are “murderous” and “poisonous.”

Wow, but President Trump is the divisive one?

In the wee hours of March 3, the conservative-hating movie man laid out his feelings on both sides of the American political aisle, “Republican Party: treasonous, poisonous, murderous, racist, misogynist. Democratic Party: struggling to do their best to help people, misogynist.”

Oh okay, the only benefit of the doubt goes to Democrats. How predictable, Mr. Whedon. Though he added that it’s because of both party’s “mistrust of women” that America has the problems it has. He wrote, “At the end of the day, that’s how they beat us. The secret ingredient. We have never confronted America’s basic mistrust of women.” Okay then?

Well if we had to guess, this strange tweet is the lament of a passionate male feminist at the news that white men have the only shot at winning the presidency … again! Well, don’t let his grandstanding about the plight of women fool you. Mr. Whedon doesn’t have the most stellar record when it comes to treating women equally.

Either way, his Twitter posts show that the billionaire-harassing U.S. Senator from Massachusetts was Whedon’s pick for the White House this year. Last May, he gushed about Warren, tweeting, “Elizabeth Warren was doing highly paid legal work while teaching at Ivy League universities. I’ve tried to keep an open mind, but you can’t ignore something like that. Where do I volunteer? #Warren2020.”

Last September he tweeted, Not just any woman - @ewarren is just the best person for the gig, imho. (But also, SORT OF any woman?) (but also, Warren.) (cuz vampires.)”

Yes, how cute. Too bad the candidate couldn’t recharge her presidential bid with her attacks on boring billionaire candidate Mike Bloomberg. But Whedon can’t see the failed candidate, he can only see America’s misogyny. Again, ironic, considering there were allegedly “multiple affairs and a number of inappropriate emotional ones that he had with his actresses, co-workers, fans, and friends” while he was married to a long-suffering wife, Kai Cole.

Reports have also claimed that Whedon fired actress Charisma Carpenter for getting pregnant while playing a character in Buffy spinoff, Angel. Liz Warren would never approve.

In addition to being more of a sexist hypocrite than caring feminist, Whedon is an angry and aggressive Twitter lefty, who last week tweeted poetry about “America’s autopsy” revealing that “hate” was the root of our demise. Of course that’s because “poisonous, murderous, racist, misogynist,” Republicans were at the helm. He feels so strongly about this that he once advocated to have Donald Trump’s Twitter account removed.

In 2018, he went so far as to wish President Trump was dead, tweeting, “My hate and sadness are exhausting. Die, Don. Just quietly die.”

Oh but Republicans are “murderous” and “poisonous?” Mr. Whedon needs to check into a facility. November 2020 could be pretty hard on him.
