In Wednesday’s lead story for the National section, Elizabeth Dias devoted 1,900 words to sudden respect for Christian evangelicals: “In Deep-Red Texas, Evangelical Women Trickle Toward O’Rourke -- Citing moral imperative to fight Trump’s agenda.”

For the first 11 minutes of Tuesday night’s Hardball on MSNBC, the clownish Chris Matthews and his panel held a glorified get out the vote (GOTV) rally for Democrats. But began with Matthews gloating about his midterm forecast from April ended with the crude suggestion that America has been victimized by Trump like Dr. Christine Blasey Ford alleged she was by Brett Kavanaugh.

On Monday, the focus of midterm election coverage on all three network morning shows was cheering on pop star Taylor Swift “as she uses her voice to venture into the political fray” by endorsing Democrats in her home state of Tennessee. Anchors and reporters gushed over the singer finally using her influence to push a liberal agenda after having “avoided politics in the past.”

The confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a major political loss for the left-wing mob. As expected, all sorts of wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued, especially from Hollywood liberals who have apparently made it their life’s calling to engage in the hysteria. Many of them took to social media to vent their frustration, and their status updates were extreme to say the least.

On Sunday’s 60 Minutes, correspondent Scott Pelley conducted a hostile interrogation of Republican Senator Susan Collins, aghast at her decision to support the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. At the same time, he treated Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp as a “rare” hero for voting against Kavanaugh.

Upon hearing that Judge Brett Kavanaugh had the votes be confirmed, a CNN panel at the 4:00pm EST hour responded as you would expect, with hysterical tirades against the “sexism” and “racism” of America, adding that the Founding Fathers would be upset today, and this confirmation would energize women to vote against Republicans at the midterm elections this November.

During and after the cloture vote Friday morning to move forward with Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, NBC’s Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell held out hope that unnamed Republican Senators could change their minds to oppose Kavanaugh and that, amidst the onslaught of pressure (read: verbal harassment from the left), voting against the Judge is thinking “beyond reelection.”

While the rest of Thursday’s network morning shows ignored new polling data showing an enthusiasm surge among Republican voters ahead of the midterm elections, NBC anchor Megyn Kelly not only reported the bad news for Democrats, but pointed to biased and irresponsible media coverage as one reason for the public “backlash” against liberal lawmakers.
