Policing the unruly anti-pipeline protests in North Dakota since August came with an exorbitant price tag for North Dakota taxpayers. The Morton County Sheriff’s Department released new figures on Jan. 9, showing the state and local police response cost a whopping $22.3 million since Aug. 10. But the broadcast evening news shows paid no attention to that on Jan. 10.

It’s no secret that many Americans will not be happy on Inauguration Day 2017. Actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said “Hello” to hypocrisy and “Hasta la vista, baby” to climate purity. The New Celebrity Apprentice started with Schwarzenegger looking suave and putting on sunglasses in a giant, gas-guzzling hummer. What it didn’t explain was the glaring hypocrisy of a fossil fuel alarmist like Schwarzenegger driving the king of all gas hogs.  

Now even the price of razors is sexist, according to one Huffington Post UK editor. Associate Women’s Editor Jenavieve Hatch applauded a British supermarket chain Tesco for lowering the price of women’s razors to that of men’s on Jan. 3, cheering, “More of this, please!”

MRC Vice President of Business and Culture Dan Gainor ripped the liberal media for its anti-Trump, pro-Clinton bias. “There is no neutrality at The New York Times,” Gainor told After the Bell host Dan Asman before pointing out the double standard in how differently the Times covered Democratic and Republican presidents. 

According to lefty billionaire George Soros, President-Elect Donald Trump is a “would-be dictator” and a danger to the world’s democratic institutions. “Democracy is now in crisis. Even the U.S., the world’s leading democracy, elected a con artist and would-be dictator as its president,” Soros said of Trump on Dec. 28.

Liberal environmental activists got an early Christmas present when President Obama banned offshore drilling along large portions of the Arctic and East Coast in late December, and liberal nonprofit media are celebrating.
