The brand-new NBC show Great News premiered on April 25 with two episodes, “Pilot” and “The Bear Attack.” The show is about young television news producer Katie Wendelson (Briga Heelan) who is trying to gain respect in the newsroom at “The Breakdown” while her helicopter mother Carol (Andrea Martin) takes an internship position at the station.

We got to bid farewell to season two of TBS’s The Detour in the April 25 double episode, the latter being a supersized, limited commercial season finale. But if you thought this was the last of the ongoing attacks on Christianity and family values, you’d be wrong.

Well, TBS’s The Detour is at it again. The April 18th episode, “The Trip,” continued the show’s utter contempt for anything to do with Christianity or Christian values. With other issues, the show has done a hit and run, keeping the mockery to one episode and then moving on to other targets.
