NCIS: New Orleans is one of the rare shows I’ve seen that seems to capture real life pretty accurately, at least for this New Orleans native. Sadly, as a Hollywood show, it seems duty-bound to push the liberal narrative on some angle. This time, it includes the total acceptance of refugees.

The February 6 episode of Freeform’s The Fosters titled “Scars” depicts an ICE agent tipping off a teenager about a planned raid at a high school for DACA students who have reached the age of 18 years old. Presumably, the agent has grown a conscience after seeing the horrors of the Trump administration's immigration policy firsthand.

For those of you tired of the disgusting sexual images from Fox’s The Mick, you’re in luck. In the latest episode you get disgusting comments ridiculing practiced religion and belief in God as a whole instead. It’s hardly a positive step forward, but at least there are no nude 100-year-olds.

It was only a matter of time before Dr. Shaun Murphy received his first transgender patient. In the February 5 episode of ABC’s The Good Doctor titled “She,” like most of us would, the autistic surgical resident had some difficulty understanding transgenderism. The story concentrates on how the doctors at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital deal with the patient’s family.

In the immortal words of the late, great Ronald Reagan, there you go again, Superior Donuts. This time, the extremely liberal show that seeks to teach leftist lessons to its audience every week, claimed that Obama is the first and last black president because white people “gave us one just to shut us up,” then got “so mad at having a black president that they elected an orange one.”

CW's comedy Jane the Virgin has gone through its ups and downs. In the early seasons, it wasn't terribly political. Then it became political (and terrible) as soon as Trump was elected, but it actually chilled out a little this year. So why, in the February 2 episode "Chapter Seventy-Three," did they feel the need to take a random dig at Ivanka Trump? 

Just when you thought Hollywood couldn’t sink any lower in their depravity and twisted attempts at humor, especially when it comes to child actors, along comes Tuesday’s episode of TBS’s The Detour, “The Stop.” Which were my thoughts exactly as I watched. “Please, for the literal love of God, make it stop.”

In the February 1 episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Miranda Bailey goes into a competing hospital, convinced she is having a heart attack. This episode is heavy with flashbacks as past memories are triggered by this experience.

Will & Grace really hates Mike Pence, that's nothing new. Usually, though, the show is suggesting that he hates gay people, not that he himself is secrely gay. That seemed to change in the February 1 episode "Staten Island Fairy." 

NBC’s Law and Order: SVU has always been a reliable series to find liberal bias, whether it includes painting Christians as rape apologists or gender fluidity as “cool.” But I think we were overdue for an episode that gives us a real, honest glimpse of what the show thinks of the right. Look no further than this week's episode title “Info Wars.”

The January 31 episode of CW’s Dynasty, titled “Promises You Can’t Keep,” really outdid itself in making a conservative running for office into the worst sort of man.

Sticking with the overdone evil corporation theme, Comedy Central’s new anti-capitalist show, Corporate, takes on fracking in its January 31 episode, “Trademarq.” The wicked corporation Hampton Deville suffers from aggressive protests and vandalism due to its use of super fracking. Additionally, one of the main characters imagines himself punching God. On his way to work, the Hampton Deville CEO…

Season Two of Netflix’s One Day at a Time began airing January 26 with 13 half-hour episodes. Picking up where last season left off, the show is all about immigration, gun control, and teenage political activism sprinkled with Trump bashing.

Fox's new medical drama The Resident was taken to task on Twitter upon its premiere last week for its completely unrealistic portrayal of what goes on in American healthcare and the January 29 episode "Comrades in Arms" was no different as it portrayed medical personnel ordering unnecessary tests to drive up costs and the hospital administration refusing to treat a dying illegal immigrant.
