Susan Rice is best known as the top Obama adviser who lied on five different network talk shows in 2012, claiming the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi was caused by a YouTube video. But MSNBC put Rice on the air shortly after President Trump's speech about Iran on Wednesday as a "fact checker."
Thursday’s Hardball featured a thick, heavy lather of liberal love for everyone from the Obamas to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, all thanks to an ebullient host Chris Matthews hours after the House voted to formalize the impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
Longtime Obama official Susan Rice was guest on Wednesday’s The View, to do what else? Bash the Trump administration. Well that’s not all. Joy Behar also invited Rice to defend her former Obama administration colleague, Vice President Joe Biden, about his Ukraine scandal too, of course.
Who better than former Obama/Biden official Susan Rice to talk about Joe Biden’s dealings with Ukraine and the identify of an anonymous whistleblower? (Rice in 2017 came under fire for requesting identities of dozens of people connected to Donald Trump.) Apparently, that’s exactly who the journalists at CBS This Morning wanted for an interview.
The left has taken over yet another entertainment medium and made it their own.
As NewsBusters reported yesterday, ABC was in full panic mode after White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced that President Trump was seeking to revoke security clearances of top former Obama officials. Instead of noting that distinction, however, ABC instead decided to call the handful of former Obama officials “some of Trump’s fiercest critics on his approach to Russia.”
Liberal ABC and NBC were in a full-blown meltdown Monday night after the White House announced the President was looking to revoke the security clearances of six former intelligence officials, whom they contend abused the privilege of retaining it after their tenure. They even tried to pretend most of the officials named weren't Obama appointees.
Following President Trump’s meeting with Russia President Vladimir Putin last Monday, ABC was the first broadcast network to boost hysterical cries of “treason” from loony leftists. During Sunday’s This Week, the network appeared to be getting their employees fitted for their tinfoil hats as they kicked up the lunacy with incessant suggestions that the President was under the direct control of Russia.
Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, have signed an extensive contract to create new movies and television shows for Netflix. That agreement potentially includes scripted and unscripted programs, documentaries and feature films. Of course, the Monday announcement came as no surprise to anyone familiar with the connection between the pay-cable channel and the former Democratic occupants of the White House, along with Obama Administration officials and entertainment executives who have supported the family in the past.
During an interview you would not see on such liberal cable television channels as CNN or MSNBC, radio host Mark Levin slammed Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff (Calif.) while the conservative activist was a guest on Wednesday evening’s edition of the Fox News Channel's Hannity .
2017 was a year of incredible change and tension in the world of the liberal media. Whether it was the departure of their beloved Barack Obama, the contentious White House press briefings, media failures, or journalists fired over sexual misconduct allegations, the liberal media are almost definitely looking forward to 2018. Just as I did with 2016, check out the top ten most-read NewsBusters blogs from 2017.
Beginning in mid-November, the international press noticed that a grisly practice had returned to Libya: slave auctions taking place monthly in at least nine locations, in territory controlled by the United Nations-backed Libyan Government of National Accord. No news coverage I have seen has reminded readers that the chain of events leading to this outrageous situation started with the toppling of the government of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, which could not have occurred without the indispensable support of then-President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
