Omarosa Manigault Newman
During Tuesday’s edition of CNN’s New Day, co-host John Berman interviewed Florida Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, one of the President’s most vocal critics and he could not resist asking her to weigh in on President Trump’s reference to former White House employee Omarosa Manigault-Newman as a “dog.” Not surprisingly, Congresswoman Wilson had nothing kind to say about President Trump.
Capping off a lengthy panel discussion on Wednesday’s MSNBC Live With Katy Tur touting former Trump White House staffer Omarosa Maniguault Newman’s attacks on the administration in her new tell-all book, New York Times Political Reporter Nick Confessore referenced iconic movie villains to describe the public feud.
As part of the liberal media’s obsession with Omarosa’s salacious allegations against the President from her book tour, Tuesday’s White House Press Briefing featured nearly four times as many questions about Omarosa-related topics as all other matters. Specifically, the breakdown was 39 Omarosa questions by 11 reporters to 10 questions for everything else from seven journalists (Afghanistan, Chinese influence in South America, ISIS, the Mueller probe, and Turkey).
NBC “News” is perfectly demonstrating why the American people distrust the media’s professed belief in facts, or its supposed approach of holding a story until they have enough documented evidence. The latest shameless exhibit? Championing former Apprentice star and White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman’s new “tell all” book claiming Donald Trump is a racist and a bigot. She claims that she has heard a tape recording (which she did not produce) that Trump said the “N-word” on the set of his NBC reality show.
MSNBC host Chris Matthews could barely contain his excitement as he interviewed Omarosa Manigault Newman, former Trump White House staffer, during Monday night’s edition of Hardball. Newman, the author of a new book called Unhinged, received the red carpet treatment as Matthews effectively gave a ten-minute long advertisement for her book; which paints a dystopian picture of the Trump administration and President Trump himself.
While defending her unsubstantiated accusation that she heard an audio recording of President Trump using the n-word during a taping of The Apprentice years ago, on Monday, former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman told NBC’s Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie that the media should grill the president about her claims. By Tuesday morning, White House correspondent Kristen Welker had complied with that request. All of it came as the total network coverage of Omarosa's book surged pass the two-hour mark.
The media are hyping former White House aide Omarosa’s negative takes on “racist” Donald Trump and of course playing audio from her surreptitious tapes – with the networks devoting 93 minutes on the topic so far. On Monday’s Today show, co-host Savanna Guthrie teased: “Just ahead, our exclusive - live with Omarosa on the secret recording she made of President Trump...and the troubling picture she’s now painting of the president.” Guthrie even joked with Omarosa as she began the interview: “I should let you know, I’m recording this conversation.”
Beginning with Friday’s evening newscasts and going through Monday’s morning shows, the broadcast networks of NBC, ABC, and CBS provided an astonishing 93 minutes of air time to promoting former Trump White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman’s new tell-all book blasting the administration and accusing the President of being a “racist.” While hosts and correspondents repeatedly acknowledged the Apprentice star’s major credibility problems, that didn’t stop them from providing the avalanche of coverage.
Shortly before a white supremacist rally was to be held outside the White House, ABC’s Good Morning America touted the ramblings of disgraced former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman. In her new book, ironically called Unhinged, she described the President as a “racist, bigot, and misogynist,” so, of course, the liberal media were enthralled. So much show that they touted a TMZ video of her suggesting President Trump wanted a “race war”.
On Friday, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News showed zero restraint when it came to salacious, unverified claims in an upcoming book by former White House aide and reality TV firebrand Omarosa Manigault-Newman that President Trump used the n-word. Even though there’s already contradictions emerging, both eagerly led with and reported them anyway.
Take a certain misleading July 26 Washington Post headline as a sign that liberals have become increasingly frustrated that Donald Trump has still not been removed from the Oval Office and that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has yet to present evidence that Trump committed collusion with Russia. This frustration has caused liberal desperation to such an extent that they are willing to grasp at any straw. The latest manifestation of this was the headline on an article by Helena Andrews-Dyer: "Omarosa will take down President Trump in an ‘explosive, jaw-dropping’ new tell-all book."
Season two of NBC’s comedy Marlon premiered Thursday evening with two back-to-back episodes, both of which took digs at esteemed Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, portraying him as a “sellout” and the polar opposite of hero Martin Luther King. Two other famous, black conservatives were also painted as sellouts and anti-heroes: former Apprentice star and Trump administration staffer Omarosa Manigault and actress Stacey Dash.
