Most people would instinctively dismiss the idea that a Hollywood veteran of more than 50 films could be a President Trump supporter. But Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight has always stood out in that regard, and in an emotional interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin on Sunday he choked up while recounting a heartfelt chat he had with a conservative actress concerning the 45th president.

On Monday, Newsweek published an article warning the general public about an ACT for America conference honoring ICE department head Thomas Homan, because the Southern Poverty Law Center has described both as promoting a hate agenda. Whether from malice or sheer laziness, outlets like Newsweek a quick to regurgitate SPLC’s specious “hate group” claims.  

The South African government has begun seizing land from white farmers, following an August 1 ruling which amended that nation’s constitution to legalize the practice. Despite the disturbing ramifications of this human rights abuse at the hands of a foreign government, both cable and network news have remained stubbornly silent on the issue.

Nina Burleigh really blew it this time. Wednesday morning, Newsweek retracted their reporter's Monday story on "How an Alt-Right Bot Network Took Down Al Franken." Newsweek's move leads to a bigger question: When will the Associated Press correct or retract reports claiming Florida high school massacre perpetrator Nikolas Cruz was connected with white nationalism?
