There seems to be no bar to the crazy this week in the aftermath of Charlottesville. While critics are screaming at Trump’s suggestion that, after the Confederate monuments the left may go after the Founding Fathers, the fine people over at Newsweek are actually considering it. Not insane enough? Vice wants to “Blow Up Mount Rushmore.”

On Friday's Cavuto: Coast to Coast, host Neil Cavuto exposed the ridiculous and inappropriate Newsweek cover article calling the president "lazy" and declaring his presidency a failure. "This article has no point." He pointed out that the media also quickly declared Reagan to be a failure. "This ain't fair, this ain't right. Not remotely fair, or remotely balanced."

Some of you might remember when liberals in the media mocked former First Lady Nancy Reagan for merely dabbling in astrology. Well, thirty years later it is the media liberals who are seriously consulting astrologers in the desperate hope they might reassure them that perhaps the upcoming total solar eclipse on August 21 could spell doom for the Trump presidency.

Poland’s President on Thursday dismissed as “fake news” media claims that his wife snubbed Donald Trump’s attempt at a handshake. Regarding hyperbolic stories in Newsweek, USA Today and by The Washington Post, President Andrzej Duda tweeted, “Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let's FIGHT FAKE NEWS.” 

In the latest example of fake news, journalists on Thursday hyperventilated about a supposed dramatic snub of Donald Trump by Poland’s first lady. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, it seemed, refused to shake the hand of the President. Except, that’s not what happened. Mere seconds after shaking Melania Trump’s hands, Kornhauser-Duda and the President shared a warm embrace.
