Get ready for a new, left-leaning HBO take on the presidential election. This one will follow yet another Game Change book from authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.  Halperin is the same man who said this on election night: “Outside of the Civil War, World War II and including 9/11, this might be the most cataclysmic event the country’s ever seen.” 

The title for episode two of Big Little Lies, which aired Sunday, February 26, on HBO, ended up having a much deeper meaning than just competition among some of the mothers to have the most popular children, the best birthday parties, and to be the alpha mother ruling over all other moms at fictional Otter Bay Elementary School set in Monterey, California.

Lena Dunham is a huge Planned Parenthood and abortion supporter. She was a Planned Parenthood abortionist for Halloween one year – and not in a bloody horror way, but in a “newsy, sexy, and cool” way. How much does Lena love abortion? Just in December she said, “I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.” Well, now she might get her wish, via her character Hannah on the HBO series Girls.

Having finally watched an episode of HBO’s Girls, I can now honestly say how inane, self-righteous, raunchy, and, quite honestly, stupid the show is first-hand. This is not something I say proudly, especially when it regards a topic something that should never be covered by Lena Dunham: women’s accusations of rape.

The premiere episode of HBO’s Crashing titled “Artie Lange” provides a twist – the leading character Pete (Pete Holmes), a wannabe stand-up comedian, is a Christian and works his faith into ordinary conversations. How refreshing.

Lena Dunham's HBO show Girls was back for its sixth and final (thank God!) season on Sunday night and the notoriously liberal show shockingly took aim at New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and not-so-shockingly subjected viewers to the eye crime of seeing Dunham naked.

The last, and probably the least, episode of HBO’s The Young Pope aired February 13 and nicely tied together the anti-Catholic theme with liberal arrogance. In the third episode of the show, the Pope (Jude Law) declared, “I believe only in myself.” His words ring true again in the season finale. 

The ninth episode of HBO’s The Young Pope, which aired February 12, featured an anti-Catholic view of abortion, a conversation about orgasms, and (surprise!) another corrupt, lecherous clergy member.

On Friday's Real Time on HBO, host Bill Maher made crude incest jokes about President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka, and, a bit later, got into a heated debate with former liberal CNN host Piers Morgan about whether there has been a substantial increase in violent crime over the past couple of years as the liberal comedian cited a chart that only included crime through 2015 and omitted the…

In a friendly chat with actress and left-wing activist Lena Dunham on Friday’s NBC Today, substitute co-host Maria Shriver lobbed one softball after another while promoting the final season of HBO’s Girls. Dunham, in turn, praised liberal young women for practicing “identity politics” and denounced the “xenophobia” of the Trump administration.

Liberal HBO host John Oliver sneered that he won’t let the “viscerally horrifying” Donald Trump ruin the creativity of his show. Talking to USA Today on Wednesday about the upcoming season of Last Week Tonight, Oliver complained, “I always believed he was going to do what he said, which is why I was so against him becoming president.  That doesn’t make it any less viscerally horrifying.” 

Striving to outdo the controversy of suggesting the Pope (Jude Law) was Atheist, the eighth episode of HBO’s The Young Pope, which aired February 6, shows the Pope using God like a hit man to slay an unrighteous nun.
