During the October 22 episode of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm titled “Running With the Bulls,” grieving Uncle Jerry Funkhouser (Bob Einstein) introduces his transsexual son, Joey, formerly his daughter, Jodi. Even on silly shows like this, the transgender agenda is worked in, no matter how random the reference.
Funkhouser’s nephew traveled to Paloma, Spain, for the running of the bulls. Unfortunately, he was killed in a stampede. The memorial service is underway as Funkhouser is called upon by the rabbi to say a few words about his nephew. Oddly enough, he began by acknowledging his son/daughter to the mourners.
Rabbi: I'd like to bring forward Kenny's uncle, Martin Funkhouser, who would like to say a few words.
Larry: Great.
Rabbi: Martin, please?
Marty: Thank you, Rabbi Dorfman.
Larry: Oh, sorry.
Jerry: I would like to take a moment to acknowledge my former beautiful daughter Jodi, who's now my handsome son Joey. - I love you, Joey. Thank you. I love you.

I don’t know about you but to me this was just a really random and strange acknowledgement to make at a memorial service. It is, however, just another example how liberal Hollywood is determined to normalize abnormal sexual behavior by going to any length. Sign of the times, I suppose, in this show’s reincarnation from years of dormancy.
