MRC Vice President of Business and Culture Dan Gainor ripped the liberal media for its anti-Trump, pro-Clinton bias. “There is no neutrality at The New York Times,” Gainor told After the Bell host Dan Asman before pointing out the double standard in how differently the Times covered Democratic and Republican presidents. 

The media remain steadfast in their opposition to now-President-elect Donald Trump.  In their attempts to deny him first the office and now legitimacy therein, they have come up with all sorts of shorthand descriptives that are either vague or outright disingenuous. One of the most annoying of these - is “Donald Trump is anti-(free) trade.”

Providing more reasons why it was an abomination he was allowed to moderate a GOP presidential debate, CNBC’s John Harwood took to Twitter on Tuesday where he offered Republican opposition to ObamaCare and racism as reasons why President Obama’s Democratic Party lost so many seats nationwide during his administration. Tuesday on CNBC, Microsoft co-founder and multibillionaire Bill Gates recounted a conversation he had with Donald Trump a couple of weeks ago. He had fairly nice things to say about both the conversation and the potential of the incoming Trump administration. Naturally, neither the Associated Press nor the New York Times found these elements of the CNBC interview to be newsworthy.

Squawk Box host Joe Kernen blasted the “mainstream media” as the election loser saying certain outlets should accept humiliation. “The mainstream media is a loser in this and not just in trying to analyze what was happening but trying to influence and affect what was happening,” Kernen said on Nov. 9.  

CNBC’s Joe Kernen slammed anti-Trump media bias on Nov. 8, and branded the New York Times as an honorary member of the Clinton campaign. He joked that The New York Times staff had “honorary position” in the Clinton campaign.  

Leaked emails from the Clinton campaign cast doubts on CNBC Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood’s ability to be an objective reporter when it came to Hillary Clinton. But after The Hill accused Harwood on Nov. 7, of colluding with the Clinton campaign, he denied the charge on Twitter.
