ABC on Monday found Republicans who are bothered by Ted Cruz's supposed lack of civility, who disagree with him on gun control and gay marriage. The town hall aired on Good Morning America, allowing the senator 30 minutes and 38 seconds to talk to voters. But, unlike past ABC events that gushed over Hillary Clinton, this one featured tough questions from voters. 

David Muir and the journalists at Good Morning America were thrilled over Cuba’s “day of history,” hyping an exclusive interview with Barack Obama. Yet, the same network spent just a scant ten seconds on the arrest of more than 50 dissidents hours before the President arrived. 

“Outstanding.” That’s how Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts described liberal Leonardo DiCaprio’s climate change speech at the Oscars. The journalists at ABC were thrilled over the movie star’s advocacy. Lara Spencer hyped, “And Leo with his sixth Oscar nomination finally having his moment taking home best actor and using it as a platform for global change.”

After conducting live softball interviews with Hillary Clinton on Monday, NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America both devoted admiring full reports to the Bernie Sanders campaign as well, both touting his “political revolution.”

While all three network morning shows conducted live interviews with Hillary Clinton on Monday ahead of the Iowa caucus, only CBS This Morning actually brought up her ongoing e-mail scandal. NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America both ignored the issue and lobbed softballs to the Democratic frontrunner instead.

The journalists at Good Morning America on Friday joked about just how white the Academy Award nominations are. For several days, the Today show has been hyping a special edition show that would feature Hillary Clinton for what NBC has promoted as “Pancakes & Politics: A Town Hall With Hillary Clinton.”  If the October 5 program is anything like ABC’s campaign 2008 town halls, it will be heavily stilted towards Democratic talking points. 

On the Friday morning network newscasts, CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today showed no interest in picking up on an ABC News report that former President Bill Clinton sought approval from his wife’s State Department for speeches that involved African dictators and North Korea with the speaking fee for the former engagement worth $650,000.

Both ABC's Good Morning America and CBS This Morning on Thursday used the shooting death of two journalists in Roanoke, Virginia to highlight gun control. GMA co-host Robin Roberts talked to the boyfriend of slain reporter Alison Parker and lectured, "...When something like this happens, the conversation turns to gun control." 

During live breaking news coverage of President Obama announcing a nuclear arms agreement with Iran Tuesday morning, all three broadcast networks labeled the deal “historic” and cheered the development as a “major victory” for the commander in chief, who made the deal a “top diplomatic priority.”
