Oprah’s show Greenleaf, a drama featuring a Christian “megachurch” and the fallible humans behind it, has been all over the map when it comes to representing Christian values accurately. One minute, the show is depicting gay conversion therapy programs in a positive light. The next, it’s sending the message that Christians who don’t support gay marriage are “broken.”

Not even the fictional world is safe from the transgender trend. TVLand’s Lopez is one of the latest shows to bring up the ongoing fight for representing less than 1 percent of the population, but it may also be one of the few to take an honest look at how ridiculous it is for a change. 

To cap off Wednesday’s CBS Evening News, the network spotlighted a study by a pair of Northwestern University law professors who claim the United States Supreme Court is a sexist workplace based exclusively on who interrupts who. “And at the Supreme Court, women broke the glass ceiling. Wednesday night’s episode of Survivor: Game Changers, “What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile,” featured a shocking tribal council that saw gay man Jeff Varner out his fellow competitor Zeke Smith, who everyone knew as a gay man from the previous season Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen-X, as being transgender.

ABC’s Imaginary Mary is…well, you can just judge by the title and the concept of a grown woman with a cartoon imaginary friend how dumb it is. Social justice warriors are at it again, this time taking aim at the popular United Kingdom game show University Challenge because not a single female made it to the final.  A game in the mold of Jeopardy, University Challenge airs on the BBC that features college students from the UK’s top schools.
