To the surprise of probably no one who visits NewsBusters, CBS and NBC went soft in their Tuesday evening newscasts previewing President Obama’s farewell address, touting Obama as having been “the embodiment of hope and the personification of change.”

During Monday's edition of CBS's Late Show program, host Stephen Colbert chimed in on actress Meryl Streep's six-minute speech slamming President-elect Donald Trump at the Golden Globe Awards the night before, and he gleefully let his liberal perspective come shining through.

For weeks, the liberal media have celebrated all that Barack Obama means...to them. CNN produced a two-hour documentary on the Obama legacy that never mentioned things like annual trillion-dollar deficits.
