Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is facing a series of interviewers pressing her to account for being "too conservative" on immigration when she was in the House of Representatives. It happened on ABC yesterday, and it happened on CNN's State of the Union. Jake Tapper pressed her from the Left, but at least put a Trump needle in there: 

This weekend, Fox News Channel again demonstrated that it is the only major news outlet to give attention to the case in favor of building President Donald Trump's border wall as Fox and Friends Saturday gave former Obama administration Border Patrol chief Mark Morgan a forum to argue in favor of building the wall, citing how much more effective walls are even if not 100 percent impenetrable.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi canceled Trump's State of the Union, and drew rave reviews from the press. None of them saw the n ext move coming: Trump canceled her trip abroad, due to same excuse -- security concerns. The media were furious at a "childish" president offering tit for tat. Never troll the King of Trolls. 

CNN Newsroom presented a predictable reaction to President Trump’s Saturday afternoon remarks that offered a compromise to Democrats on immigration and government shutdown, blasting Trump’s speech as “inflammatory” filled with “misinformation and scare-mongering tactics” trying to still make “Trump’s little racist wall” happen.

The "Truth-o-Meter" at PolitiFact (and their subset PunditFact) is very strange machine. On January 11, PunditFact ruled it "HALF TRUE" when Sean Hannity proclaimed on his show on January 10 that "17,000 individuals with criminal records were apprehended trying to cross the border" in 2018. Hannity repeated that number on January 17. But they also admitted it was "basically correct." 

Last month, NewsBusters commended ABC, CBS, and NBC for spending a combined 28 minutes in their evening news broadcasts on the murder of Newman, California police Corporal Ronil Singh by an illegal alien. However, that coverage was a rare exception to broadcast television’s overall lousy track record of burying crimes committed by individuals living in the U.S. illegally.

On Thursday's New Day show, CNN's John Avlon presented another of his infamous "Reality Check" segments which is more akin to liberal spin than an actual effort to clearly inform viewers about the issues. The CNN analyst argued against a border wall as he cited Politifact to dismiss claims of 2,000 homicides being committed by illegal immigrants in one year being reported by ICE for FY2018.

On New Day, Alisyn Camerota asked why President Trump hasn't accepted a deal that would end the partial government shutdown. Co-host John Berman, referring to a statement by Ann Coulter, offered an explanation, saying he had "a sign, a word from up above." CNN commentator John Avlon interjected: "whoa, whoa: directionally off!"

CW’s Roswell, New Mexico is the latest example of television constantly rebooting its past shows. Unfortunately, it’s also another example of television constantly shoving a leftist agenda down our throats. This newest series does its part by propping up more propaganda on behalf of illegal immigrants.

So, when is a crisis a crisis? From what viewers see on Telemundo, NBC’s sister network for the U.S. Hispanic market, it all depends on who says so: if the cry comes from liberal media allies and activists, it’s “I told you so.” But should the word ‘crisis’ come from the mouth of President Trump, it’s “no way, José.”

View co-host Sunny Hostin once again showed just how blindly partisan she is on Tuesday’s show, arguing that anyone who agrees with Trump’s border wall is a racist bigot against “brown people.”
