January 17th, 2019 1:25 AM
As part of her Art Therapy: Healing with a Heart initiative, Second Lady Karen Pence started working part-time with Northern Virginia’s Immanuel Christian School. Of course, this “generated controversy” because the school promoted Christian values such as traditional marriage. And during Wednesday’s edition of CBS Evening News, the network apparently tried to shame Mrs. Pence for sticking with…

Happy New Year! The Top 10 Most Outrageously Liberal TV Scenes of 2018

Culture
January 2nd, 2019 7:00 AM
Another year, another opportunity for TV writers to express their liberal bias and deeply-rooted Trump Derangement Syndrome. Unless you’re a fan of bashing conservatives, stroking racial tensions, and sexualizing children, 2018 was not a great year for television. As I feared, things have definitely gotten worse.

NBC Runs Story on Gay Pride Flag Stolen From Lesbian Couple

December 26th, 2018 8:29 PM
On Tuesday's NBC Nightly News, the show devoted a full report to the story of a lesbian couple in Illinois whose gay pride flag was stolen from outside their home. Ironically, a couple of weeks ago when an apparently Muslim man on a Brooklyn subway train violently attacked a woman whom he mistook to be a lesbian, the same show did not find it newsworthy.

That Giant Liberty-Sucking Sound From the Tolerant Left

December 21st, 2018 3:06 PM
Various leftist grievance groups have insisted for years that they just want equal treatment and equal rights, that they only want to end discrimination and that they come with an attitude of “live and let live.” Nope. We've long known that the “tolerance" police don't merely want equal rights and to be treated with civility. They require that you honor their ideas as superior, reject your own…

The erosion of what many Americans once believed were the foundations of our country continues apace. They include, but are not limited to, overspending and debt (personal and national), never-ending wars, uncontrolled borders leading to massive immigration with no time for or expectation of assimilation and political divisions that grow wider by the day. It's now the Boy Scouts of America's turn…

NBC's Seth Meyers Staffer Trashes 'Homophobic' Pope for 'Hate Speech'

December 13th, 2018 10:56 PM
On Monday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC, his staff writer Jenny Hagel uncorked a commentary attacking Pope Francis as a fountain of “hate speech.” In a new book-length interview titled The Strength of a Vocation, the Pope said the Catholic Church shouldn’t be scandalized by sexually active (and activist) homosexual priests. It’s not exactly a new stand for Popes, but this one was…

An Ethics Lesson for USA Today's ‘Queer’ Bullies

December 12th, 2018 12:32 PM
This week, I did something that USA Today’s executive leadership apparently hadn't done lately: I read the newspaper’s “principles of ethical conduct for newsrooms.” It's pretty highfalutin. The media manifesto of virtue, posted online, applies to all employees “working with any news platform, including newspapers, websites, mobile devices, video, social media channels and live story events.”

For the Hollywood left, there is no forgiveness, let alone consistency. There is only a volatile mob mentality that, if dissented from, will get one’s career destroyed. Kevin Hart, an African American comedian who has appeared in Scary Movie 3, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and other comedies, announced on Tuesday that he had been selected to host the 2019 Academy Awards, according to…
