March 6th, 2017 1:05 PM
On Sunday’s series premiere of ABC’s Time After Time, Dr. John Stevenson aka Jack the Ripper (Josh Bowman) was finally caught in 2017 by friend H.G. Wells (Freddie Stroma) after stealing Wells’s time machine from 1893.  When they met at a New York City bar, however, Stevenson boasted about the accessibility of guns in 2017 and how he’s “an amateur” compared to the 21st century’s violent criminals…

February 16th, 2017 12:22 PM
On Thursday, NBC’s Today fretted over Congress reversing a discriminatory gun regulation put in place under the Obama administration that broadly banned anyone receiving mental disability Social Security benefits from buying a firearm. Despite the overturn legislation receiving bipartisan support, even from the American Civil Liberties Union, the morning show hyped “controversy” over the “…

CW's 'Arrow' Misses the Mark in Controversial Gun Control Episode

Culture
February 16th, 2017 12:08 AM
I've always considered CW’s Arrow the more conservative show of the DC universe (which means almost nothing) since it follows a physically tough man using his hard-earned abilities to defend himself and the city where he lives. That being said, if Supergirl couldn’t even handle the subject of gun control, what makes them think that a show where literally every character uses a weapon would be a…

Pawns of Liberals

February 15th, 2017 3:26 PM
Ordinary black people cannot afford to go along with the liberal agenda that calls for undermining police authority. That agenda makes for more black crime victims. Let's look at what works and what doesn't work. In 1990, New York City adopted the practice in which its police officers might stop and question a pedestrian. If there was suspicion, they would frisk the person for weapons and other…

Parade Magazine Skips Trumps, Promotes Liberal Gun-Control Couple

February 14th, 2017 3:54 PM
The Sunday newspaper supplement Parade Magazine has been an absolutely Trump-free zone since the election.  The Obamas repeatedly came for softball interviews and cover stories, for example as they promoted a “working families summit” in 2014. One can guess the Trumps aren’t granting access, but the magazine staff is almost pretending they don’t exist. On Sunday, Parade spotlighted a different…

Culture
February 14th, 2017 12:40 AM
IIn Chicago, there is a 1 in 33 chance that you could become a victim of a crime. Sounds to me like owning a gun would almost be a no-brainer to defend yourself. However, in the Chicago of CBS's Superior Donuts, gun ownership is still treated as a controversial event despite the hundreds of murders that occur yearly in that city.

NYT’s Kristof's Latest Pathetic Attempt to Explain Away Islamic Terror

February 13th, 2017 1:01 PM
Why don’t people think the media are sufficiently concerned about Islamic terrorism? Well there’s this, for one. And the New York Times Sunday Review brought another exhibit from columnist Nicholas Kristof, who has an obsession with trying to shrink the threat of Islamic terrorism to the size of a bathtub -- or at least, to the threat posed by bathtubs. And stairs. And husbands, as in his latest…

Congressman Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat representing areas of Chicago, appeared as a guest on Thursday's New Day on CNN to discuss President Donald Trump's criticism of Chicago's leadership for the rising crime situation in the city. CNN host Alisyn Camerota failed to push back as her liberal guest began ranting that the National Rifle Association was partly to blame for increased homicides in his…

LA Times Editorial: Concealed Carry on Campus Is 'Silly and Dangerous'

January 26th, 2017 7:13 AM
Last week the Los Angeles Times ran a staff editorial claiming it would be a "silly, and dangerous idea" to allow concealed carry permit holders to be armed on campus.  What is “silly” is the Times also argued that guns are rarely used by citizens for protection, so there’s no need for them to be on campus. The Times even uses alcohol on campus as a lame excuse for why there shouldn’t be…

Appearing as a panel member on Thursday's Anderson Cooper 360, during a heated debate over President Donald Trump not choosing Hispanic cabinet secretaries, moderate Republican CNN analyst Ana Navarro had a meltdown as she excoriated Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos as sounding "like she's fallen on her head as a baby" during her confirmation hearings, and attacked her support for allowing…
