Nowhere is the dearth of opposing opinion more apparent than on the opinion editorial pages of major newspapers.  Syndicated columnists are given space, but local columnists with a right leaning political perspective are few and far between.  Such was my situation as a freelance columnist for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. 

What do a transgender rights activist, a liberal arts professor, a civil engineer, and a second-wave feminist have in common? They are all authors who decided to join the Everytown Authors Council in the liberal fight against gun rights, or, in their own words, “gun violence.”

A new special promises to bridge the partisan divide on the national gun debate ... but so far it sounds like more of the same. The controversial Netflix series Dear White People was finally released on Friday, April 28, and let me tell you, the "dear" in the title is NOT a term of endearment. Washington Free Beacon writer Stephen Gutwoski on Tuesday exposed the insanity of a New York Times op-ed complaining about all the guns in the National Rifle Association’s gun museum. If it sounded like Wednesday’s episode of Designated Survivor was straight from a gun control organization’s playbook, you would be right. As reported by the Washington Free Beacon’s Steve Gutowski, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence advised on the April 12 show in which “President Kirkland” (played by Kiefer Sutherland) lobbies for anti-Second Amendment legislation to pass the Senate.
