According to disturbing reports out Wednesday, Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax was in a closed-door meeting with other Democrats discussion the sexual assault allegations against him when he angrily declared “f*** that b****”. In what seemed like an effort to help Fairfax’s image, none of the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) reported the comments that evening. Instead, they…

CNN, MSNBC Cover For VA Democrat Calling His Accuser a ‘B****’
CNN and MSNBC have stubbornly refused to inform viewers about the derogatory comments that embattled Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax reportedly made about his accuser. On Wednesday morning, NBC reported via tweet that in a private discussion about a woman accusing Fairfax of sexual assault, the Democratic Lieutenant Governor exclaimed, “F*** that b****.”

Morning Joe Blasts Trump 'Spewing Lies,' Hails 'Inspirational' Abrams
One of the favorite pastimes of news media since the election of Donald Trump has been to roll out the fact checkers every time he gives a public statement or speech on anything that might be of relevance. This newfound appreciation for incessant fact checking only seems to go one way-- a notion that was on full on full display during MSNBC's Morning Joe on Wednesday as the hosts reacted to…
The Most Fractured 'Fact Checks' of the State of the Union
Liberal journalists like Brian Stelter touted a Trump State of the Union speech as a "Super Bowl for fact checkers." This didn't used to be the case when Obama was president. But several "fact checks" flopped badly.

Second Year, CNN Discredits Own Poll Showing Positive SOTU Reaction
CNN political director David Chalian reprised his State of the Union analysis from 2018 by, once again, discrediting CNN’s own poll numbers showing an overwhelmingly positive response to President Trump’s Tuesday address.“So I just want to stress here, for a State of the Union address, the President's partisans, his supporters tend to turn out to watch the speech. This is true of a president of…

Ingraham Highlights WashPost Double Standard on Sex Assault Claims
As NewsBusters has previously reported, The Washington Post has double standards when it comes to their coverage of politicians; gladly digging up nasty opposition research on Republicans while not doing such a thorough job when it comes to the Democrats. During Monday’s edition of The Ingraham Angle, host Laura Ingraham brought up another example of the Post’s double standards; this time…
NYT Laments on Front Page: Democrats Just Too Tough on Themselves
The front page of Monday’s New York Times featured national political correspondent Jonathan Martin’s “news analysis” on the Democratic meltdown in Virginia, now involving both Gov. Ralph Northam and Lt. Gov Justin Fairfax: "Trump Behaves One Way on Race. Democrats Demand Better From Their Own.” Martin rather desperately tried to change the subject from damaging stories about a racist Democratic…

Morning Joe Discovers Separation of Powers it Ignored Under Obama
The cast of MSNBC's Morning Joe are not keen on the idea of President Trump using emergency powers to build a wall on the border. It is nice that they are standing up for Constitutional notions of checks and balances and separation of powers, because that has not always been the case with the MSNBC morning show.

CNN's Berman to Ex-Trump Aide: 'You Are Hardly an Impartial Reporter'
On CNN's New Day, co-host John Berman, before permitting former Trump aide Marc Short to report on his conversation with President Trump regarding the State of the Union, tells him: "you are hardly an impartial reporter here." That's not what he said to former Trump aide Cliff Sims an hour later....perhaps because he just ripped the Trumps in a new tell-all book.

ABC Hides Sexual Assault Allegations Against Northam’s Replacement

But the young Democrat had his own problem in the form of a new sexual assault allegation. Despite the Monday accusations being seen by some as serious and credible, that evening’s ABC World News…
Surprise! NYT Finds Bias. But It’s the ‘Hard Right Propaganda’ Variety
The headline looked promising: “The Six Forms of Media Bias” from the weekday newsletter of New York Times writer David Leonhardt. Would a confession of liberal media bias follow? Not really: "Conservative bias. It’s real, too. Fox News and talk radio are huge, influential parts of the media. They skew hard right, and they often present their readers with misleading or outright false information…
