If you’re not convinced the media is on board with the LGBT agenda, think again. On the evening of March 23, NYC vandals damaged a bus displaying a conservative message about gender, and even tackled the vehicle’s driver. Although liberal media outlets condemned the bus’s message prior to the incident, few reported on the vandalism and its ironic assault on free speech. And if they did, biased…

Princeton Seminary Disses Pastor Timothy Keller

March 24th, 2017 11:48 AM
Can we all agree that modern leftists tend to politicize everything they can get their hands on -- in every venue? Even the sacred isn't sacred. Princeton Theological Seminary reversed its decision to bestow the annual Abraham Kuyper Prize to New York City pastor Timothy Keller -- for essentially political reasons. Keller leads an enormously popular Reformed church in the heart of New York City.…

Smiley Likens Obamacare Repeal to 'Drive-By' Shooting of 'Bystanders'

March 24th, 2017 7:16 AM
On Thursday's Tavis Smiley show, PBS host Smiley made one of the most over the top analogies one will hear in the health care debate as he likened the repeal of ObamaCare to a "drive-by" shooting that would "kill" people who are "innocent bystanders" as he hosted liberal activist Sister Simone Campbell as his guest. Smiley wondered how Speaker Paul Ryan views people who might suffer if ObamaCare…

This week Oprah's mega-church drama Greenleaf featured not one, but two gay storylines, both regarding discipline: one was a matter of self-discipline and the other dealt with discipline within church leadership. In Wednesday’s episode “Strange Bedfellows,” a rift forms over the decision to fire the church’s gay choir director Carlton Cruise (Parnell Damone Marcano).

Katy Perry did more than just sing about kissing a girl and liking it. At its L.A. gala this weekend, the Human Rights Campaign awarded Katy Perry the Ally for Equality award for her LGBT advocacy. In her acceptance speech, the pop star spent ten minutes criticizing her Christian upbringing while championing “sexual fluidity.” And, predictably, the feminist media loved it.

There has been much rancor over gay conversion therapy programs for decades, but the topic has again been hotly debated as of late with Vice President Mike Pence’s support for such programs as well as Ken Blackwell, Domestic Policy Advisor to the Trump Presidential Transition Team. ABC’s 20/20 revived the debate in an exposé last week, as well. Though judging by the reviews, the exposé leaned…

In an op-ed published in Friday’s print edition of USA Today, The Atlantic contributor and Religion News Service (RNS) columnist Jonathan Merritt lashed out at conservative Christians for opposing the so-called gay “moment” in the upcoming Beauty and the Beast remake, charging they’re coming across as “antiquated bigots” keeping people from “coexist[ing].”

Chalk up another doozy for fake news at Univision. It turns out that while anchor Jorge Ramos was out visiting with Klansmen to hype his ‘Hate Rising’ narrative in advance of last year’s election, the nation’s historic premier hate group was actually in the midst of a massive collapse in membership.

New Republic Writer Proposes a Lib-State ‘Bluexit’ From America

March 10th, 2017 11:30 AM
Separatist and secessionist talk has burgeoned in 21st-century America. The day after the 2004 presidential election, sulky liberals began circulating a map that represented pro-Kerry regions of the country as part of the “United States of Canada” and pro-Bush regions as “Jesusland.” Grouchy conservatives weren’t sure they belonged in a nation that elected and re-elected Barack Obama. Now comes…

While most Catholic folks will have a dull gray mark smudged on their foreheads today, some will proudly sport a bit of purple sparkle. Today is Ash Wednesday—the beginning of Lent and a day when Catholics and some Protestant denominations practice penitence. But thanks to the progressive organization Parity, some church leaders are choosing to work with “glitter ash” in support of the LGBT…

Why ‘When Calls the Heart’ Is a Television Classic

February 28th, 2017 6:03 PM
On my blog and readings at The American Spectator, I have repeatedly mentioned how successful the Hallmark Channel has been with family-friendly content rarely seen in the modern television industry. One of its most popular shows is When Calls the Heart, a show produced by Michael Landon, Jr. (the son of Little House on the Prairie star Michael Landon) starring Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Laurie…

ABC's eight hour gay propaganda event When When Rise isn't afraid to go low. Monday night's episode immediately gets into the leftist activism with a montage bashing Republicans and comparing gay rights to the fight against Nazism and the Civil Rights movement - and it all goes down hill from there.

Vox Explains CPAC’s ‘Identity Politics For Aging White Christians'

February 23rd, 2017 4:29 PM
CPAC, currently going on just outside the Beltway in National Harbor, Maryland, has changed along with the conservative movement, believes Matthew Yglesias. Old-school CPAC, Yglesias contended in a Wednesday piece, was philosophically driven, populated by the sort of activists who “helped [Ronald] Reagan mount a primary challenge to incumbent President Gerald Ford.” In the past fifteen-plus years…
