All three networks on Friday morning found time for the gossipy, unverified report that Donald Trump yelled at Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. But NBC and ABC are STILL ignoring the news that five top ISIS leaders have been captured in Iraq and 40 more were killed in an air strike. 

Perhaps feeling the heat over her kind words for accused sexual abuser Charlie Rose, CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King backtracked on Friday and said of the investigation: “Let the chips fall where they may.” On Thursday, King declared she was “sick” of covering the sex allegations against her “friend” and former colleague.

In what should sadly be to the shock of no one, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC all refused on Friday morning to cover the hard-hitting but fair Fox News Channel interview of new author and former FBI Director James Comey by Special Report host Bret Baier.

All three networks on Friday hyped the “bombshell,” “infamous” James Comey memos released overnight. ABC, CBS and NBC devoted 12 minutes and 12 seconds to the documents with each network claiming they “obtained” them. In contrast, the same outlets skimped on coverage of the Justice Department recommending charges against the fired-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

Larry Kudlow on Tuesday made his first network TV appearance as a member of the Trump administration and fought back against selective polling when it comes to the Republican tax bill. CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King demanded: “Mr. Kudlow, the latest poll shows that only 27 percent of Americans think that this tax bill is a good idea. Is that a good enough number for you?” 

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Thursday, CBS This Morning co-host Norah O’Donnell confessed that if she had known about Charlie Rose’s sexual harassment of women she probably would not have confronted him directly because he would have “screamed” at her.

CBS This Morning’s Gayle King on Thursday complained to Paul Ryan that he made her and other minorities feel “excluded” during his time as Speaker under Donald Trump. The co-host also slimed the Republican about “compromising” his  personal integrity. The appalling way in which Ted Kennedy treated women is currently being exposed in the new film Chappaquiddick. But you wouldn’t know about the sordid legacy of the Kennedy family in the nearly nine minutes CBS spent on Joe Kennedy III. Instead, the network on Friday and Sunday serenaded the “legendary,” storied” Kennedys and hyped Joe Kennedy’s possible presidential run in 2020. 

CBS has finally discovered bias and conflicts of interest. Just not the kind impacting co-host Gayle King. On Thursday,  Norah O’Donnell and Paula Reid hyperventilated about Sinclair broadcasting requiring stations to play a PSA declaring a commitment to objectivity and truth. 

CBS This Morning on Tuesday freaked out over the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to dump higher fuel economy standards. Or as co-host Gayle King put it: “The Trump administration is set to roll back one of President Obama's signature policies on the environment.” 

CBS This Morning journalists on Tuesday turned to partisan Democrat Jimmy Carter for his opinion on Donald Trump and, not shockingly, it’s pretty negative. Co-host Gayle King fawned over the ex-President, declaring him a “class act.” Co-host Norah O’Donnell made sure to hype his dislike of the current Republican administration. She wondered, “Do you have faith in President Trump?” 

All three networks on Monday adopted an impatient, irritated tone with Stormy Daniel’s lawyer Michael Avenatti. Good Morning America, CBS This Morning and Today hosts complained that the porn star’s 60 Minutes interview had been a boring “tease.” Despite the disappointment, these same networks still devoted a hefty 61 minutes of combined coverage to the Stormy Daniels story on Monday.
