Ohio Rep. and Democratic Presidential candidate Tim Ryan joined CNN Newsroom co-host Jim Sciutto on Wednesday to go on a passionate, profanity-laced, if not factually challenged rant against Mitch McConnell and the National Rifle Association. Sciutto did not care to challenge Ryan on any one of his numerous arguments, such as they were, instead choosing to aide Ryan is his diatribe against McConnell. As might be already obvious, this post and video contain strong language.
It’s almost as if liberal journalists were all reading from the same Democrat talking points. MSNBC Live host Craig Melvin liked what one 2020 Democrat candidate said about President Trump’s response to mass shootings, so much, that he repeated the attack line several times on the rest of his program.
To many in the leftist press, facts don’t matter as much as perception. So long as they perceive President Trump to be the cause of all the world’s problems, any lie can be spouted as truth. Sean Hannity alongside The Hill’s Joe Concha and America First Action Senior Advisor Sean Spicer slammed the utter absurdity of the media’s attempt to connect President Trump to the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
Late Tuesday night, MSNBC struggled to form a cohesive narrative following night one of the second set of 2020 Democratic presidential debates. While some admitted they were “shattered” and “shook up by tonight’s debate” and had some far-left proposals, others hailed Senator Elizabeth Warren (MA) as the big winner and even appeared “presidential” at times since “nobody took her down.”
One reason many Americans don’t trust those “fact checker” websites is because to know them is to see right through their incessant liberal worldview. These impartial arbiters of truth routinely defend Democrats as being “Mostly True” on everything, while savaging Republicans as just the opposite. It's not just Trump, mind you. It's Cruz, and Santorum, and Gingrich, and pretty much anyone who challenges liberal orthodoxy. So it was maddening that NBC News put its “fact checker” Jane Timm on the first Democrat debate, who then proclaimed on their “NBC News Now” live-stream that “we had a pretty clean debate.”
For some reason ABC’s The View has been a favorite stop for Democrats to announce their presidential runs for 2020. That happened again on Thursday’s show, when Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) officially announced that he was the Democrat to beat President Trump in the next election.
As the November 6 midterm election draws ever nearer, the people at the liberal Time magazine continue their efforts to help the Democratic Party recapture both the Senate and the U. S. House of Representatives. Part of that "sunny future" is Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan not only winning re-election, but also leaping to a post in the leadership of the Democratic Congressional Caucus.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi appeared on Friday’s The View, where she defended Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, her own party, and claimed there was no culture war going on in America. With the addition of moderate host Paula Faris on today’s episode, Pelosi was confronted with a few questions she didn’t like about her fractured party and the left stirring up strife.
Are the long, liberal knives of journalists out for Nancy Pelosi? The Democratic Minority Leader on Monday appeared on CBS This Morning and endured repeated questions about whether she is up to the job of facing down Donald Trump and the Republicans. After playing a montage of anti-Pelosi Democrats, Charlie Rose reminded, “You've been losing special elections, four of them."
On the Wednesday edition of the Fox News Channel’s Special Report, conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham and her fellow panelists thoroughly excoriated President Barack Obama for a hypocritical and “infantile” attack on the cable network’s reach leading to Donald Trump’s election that’s grown to become a tiring “common thread” for the duration of presidency.
On the heels of the networks providing next to no coverage of Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan (Ohio) challenging Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) for House Minority Leader, ABC and CBS ignored it while NBC only briefly noted it on their Sunday morning talk shows whereas CNN’s State of the Union featured a full segment with Ryan.
Embarrassing news broke on Capitol Hill Thursday that House Minority Leader, and former House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi was being challenged for leadership. NBC Nightly News was the only network evening news program to report the development, with Andrea Mitchell stating, “And in another sign of democratic disarray after their losses, longtime House Leader Nancy Pelosi is now being challenged for the first time by an Ohio congressman, Tim Ryan, from the kind of rustbelt district Donald Trump won overwhelmingly.”
