Not even a Democratic debate could distract the leftist late-night loon Stephen Colbert from trashing on President Trump late Tuesday night. Colbert welcomed Jeff Daniels on The Late Show where he became the latest in a series of actors on the program to make a vile comment towards the President, including the hope that Trump’s opponent can “punch him in the face.”
Actor Jeff Daniels is lecturing the racist pro-Trump "mob" is devaluing decency and honesty. It’s a little rich when the Hollywood Left itself as the guardian of decency and respect and honesty. They all lined up with Bill Clinton in 1998, and nobody in their company rewrote a literary classic to lecture him on ethics, honesty, and decency.
Let this serve as an example of how some liberal elites despise your way of life, who you vote for, the God you worship, and you yourselves as backward, irredeemable, and racist. On Monday’s Deadline: White House, liberal actor Jeff Daniels joined the MSNBC panel to bash their fellow Americans in the name of decency and love and fear for the country’s future. Daniels is in the midst of his year-long Broadway run as Atticus Finch in an Aaron Sorkin-conceived production of To Kill a Mockingbird which, according to Daniels and the panel, is meant to shame Trump supporters and white America.
Appearing on Monday’s Today show to promote his new role as Atticus Finch in a Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, liberal actor Jeff Daniels touted how the iconic story “still resonates today” because racism “hasn’t gone away.” In fact, he described racial animus as a defining characteristic in American history.
Jeff Daniels’ lines between reality and fiction are blurring again. While The Looming Tower actor has played the roles of both an FBI agent and journalist on TV, now he is acting like an expert in government issues in real life. And, of course, this expertise boils down to a half-baked perspective celebrating the future downfall of President Donald Trump at the hands of Robert Mueller and the “scorned” women of America.
“Look at anything Trump’s done. It plays into hatred,” actor Jeff Daniels charged on Monday’s With All Due Respect, before sneering: “The hat should say, ‘Make America White Again.’” As for the far-left socialist Sanders, Daniels trumpeted how “I love Bernie. I love the ideas he’s got,” citing his “ideals, let’s just make the world a great place” with “free health care and free college.” Alas, standing in the way is the fact “that thing called ‘Congress’ is a problem.”
The Newsroom, HBO’s low-rated series about a fictional television news channel will end after its third season, the premium cable channel announced Monday.
Besides struggling to get viewers, the Aaron Sorkin drama was widely criticized as being unrealistic and pompous. The show also was notable for its very liberal political slant and incredible lack of self-awareness about that slant. Throughout its brief time on the air, the show repeatedly denounced a lack of civility on cable television while also frequently slamming conservatives.
In the fictional world of HBO's Newsroom, the Aaron Sorkin program about the lives of cable TV journalists, the idea of a liberal media bias is something to be scoffed at. On Sunday's episode, the show's new Republican strategist, dared to raise the problem to "Will McAvoy" (played by Jeff Daniels): "The liberal media bias is so clear that it's not worth arguing about."
McAvoy huffed, "I don't think I can let you float an allegation like that and then pretend it's so well agreed upon that it's past debate." Citing a real-life study, "Taylor Warren" (played by Constance Zimmer) insisted, "The media overwhelmingly voted for and is voting for Obama." Later, "Elliott Hirsch" scoffed at "your 15-year-old survey." [See video below. MP3 audio here.] Of course, it's not just one survey that found journalists are mostly liberal Democrats. Poll after poll has confirmed this fact.
In March 2012, NewsBusters reported NBC’s Today show deceptively edited George Zimmerman’s 911 call to make it appear he was a racist.
On Sunday, HBO actually had one of its primary characters on the series The Newsroom deceptively edit that call exactly the way NBC News did it (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
HBO’s The Newsroom debuts its second season tonight (Sunday) at 10 PM EDT/PDT. The preachy and sanctimonious left-wing dialogue from creator/writer Aaron Sorkin often came across as unintentional near-parody of MSNBC’s old Countdown with Keith Olbermann, none more so than in the self-righteous commentary delivered by anchor “Will McAvoy,” played by Jeff Daniels, in the first season finale.
“McAvoy” went on a diatribe about the evils of the Tea Party, a particularly alien from reality plot line given what we’ve learned since that Tea Party groups were victims of government abuse by the IRS.
On Tuesday's Piers Morgan Live, actor Jeff Daniels pushed for universal background checks because the Second Amendment was written during a "different time."
"I'm one of the guys that goes back to the Second Amendment and just goes, 'you know what, it was a different time and now we're into the Sandy Hooks and the – you know, all of that and whatever happened between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin that night, only they know'," Daniels told host Piers Morgan.
Remember the hand-wringing from the Left about how the Citizens United Supreme Court decision was supposed to turn America into a corporate dystopia. The media obligingly amplified those complaints. Well, the December 12 USA Today published an analysis showing minimal corporate participation in this year’s election cycle. In fact, their contributions amounted to roughly 10% of the mega donations doled out in 2012.
Granted, there was a lot of money spent on this cycle. $518 million dollars came from just 150 people, businesses, organizations, or unions, however:
