On Monday and Tuesday, NBC weatherman Al Roker reported live from Utqiagvik, Alaska, the northernmost town in the United States, labeling it “ground zero for climate change.” Throughout the segment, Roker implored the nation to “make a commitment” to abandon fossil fuels and assured viewers: “This is not a theory, this is reality here.”

Over the years NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell has become known for her die-hard loyalty to the Clinton’s. But during Monday’s edition of NBC Nightly News, she showed a similar defensive attitude for former Vice President Joe Biden, who was facing accusations of inappropriate touching from at least two women.

Recently, U.S. Customs and Border Protection estimated that their apprehensions of illegal border crossers for the month of March easily surpassed 100,000. As CBS correspondent Manuel Bojorquez reported on Evening News Monday, “That would be the highest one-month total in more than a decade.” But that fact drew yawns from NBC Nightly News where they were more terrified of a border shutdown…

The networks on Monday framed Joe Biden’s response to charges of unwanted touching by women as “fighting back” now that “standards have changed” on what used to be considered his “harmless behavior.”  ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the accusations from Lucy Flores, but only CBS This Morning led with the story. 

Appearing on Monday’s Today show to promote a new movie, Alec Baldwin dismissed President Trump’s criticism of how the actor portrays him on Saturday Night Live. Baldwin claimed that he “can’t care” what Trump thinks and lamented the “dark history” that has supposedly occurred since the President took office.

Despite the fact Attorney General William Barr’s letter explicitly quoted the Special Counsel’s report, stating, “[t]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities”, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd was on NBC Sunday suggesting the President wasn’t really cleared of the collusion…

Throughout Friday’s Today show, NBC hosts and anchors engaged in climate change hysteria. Humans were condemned for being “greedy and lazy,” accused of making the planet “a tougher place to live.” In addition, dire warnings were issued about Alaska experiencing “an environmental disaster,” with residents being “the first climate change refugees in our country.”

The 30th GLAAD Media Awards premiered Thursday night and per usual it was a celebration of all things gay in Hollywood and a skewering of the usual suspects, like Vice President Mike Pence. Still, there was one bit you might not expect to see at an openly gay awards show, with actor Sean Hayes slamming gay, black hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett.
