After the media failed to notice controversial Democratic Congresswoman Ihan Omar making offensive public comments two weeks ago in which she downplayed the September 11th terrorist attacks as “some people did something,” NBC’s Today show finally discovered the story on Thursday. The ABC and CBS morning shows continued to ignore Omar’s latest scandal, while NBC tried to paint her as a victim.  

On Wednesday, both NBC’s Today show and ABC’s Good Morning America promoted congressional Democrats complaining about Attorney General William Barr’s testimony on Capitol Hill regarding the upcoming release of the Mueller report. Little or no attention was given to Republicans as anchors and reporters warned of “Democrats still not happy.”

In a softball exchange with Chelsea Clinton on his Monday night show, aired early Tuesday morning, NBC’s Late Night host Seth Meyers agreed with her assessment that President Trump has achieved “new levels of cruelty” with his policies. He went on to sympathize with Clinton that Fox News still has an “obsession” with her political family.

During an interview with NBC’s Maria Shriver aired on Tuesday’s Today show, left-wing comedian Chelsea Handler promoted her new book about undergoing a year of therapy following the election of Donald Trump in 2016. Doubling down on her remarks to HBO’s Bill Maher over the weekend, Handler described the “mid-life crisis” she suffered after the President defeated Hillary Clinton.

Apparently, the folks at NBC News are gluttons for punishment. During Monday’s edition of NBC Nightly News, the news organization boosted claims made by lawyer and proven huckster, Michael Avenatti that shoe giant Nike was bribing high school athletes to go to schools with Nike deals. During an interview with Third Hour Today show co-host Sheinelle Jones aired on Monday, PBS anchor Christiane Amanpour denounced criticism of the media as being “corrosive and destructive” to democracy. The comments came just days after the reporter vilely attempted to link Fox News to the recent terrorist attacks in New Zealand.

March provided television viewers and streaming platform binge-watchers another heavy dose of Trump hate. At least another 40 separate entertainment programs, on major networks, cable TV, and popular streaming platforms continued their vicious anti-Trump propaganda. What once might have been shocking is all too commonplace for a media in the later stages of Trump Derangement syndrome.

Since news broke over the weekend that former South Carolina Senator Erniest Hollings had passed, his controversial history on race has been substantially whitewashed in media reports which have gone so far as to praise him over the ending of segregation in his home state. On Monday, all three network morning shows reveled in Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announcing her resignation with relieved reporting about her “tumultuous tenure” at the department being over and touting Democrats blasting the Trump cabinet official. Correspondents fretted over who would replace Nielsen as they bid her “good riddance.”

Given the very few job gains in February and rampant media speculation in March about a coming recession, it was essential that all three evening news shows update their audiences about jobs and unemployment April 5. But not all of them did.

Senator Kamala Harris appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday night and she was greeting with all the adoration you would expect from a liberal fanboy like Meyers.

It’s not often I say this: well done, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The NBC series has been reliably liberal lately, almost to the point of peddling lies for primetime. However, the latest episode is an undeniably heartwarming reminder of the humanity of an unborn child, even if he or she is the product of rape.
