Chuck Todd seems worried. The MSNBC host — who will be co-moderating Wednesday night’s Democratic primary debate — spent most of an hour talking to surrogates from several of the campaigns. Andrea Mitchell took her MSNBC show on the road to Las Vegas on Wednesday to preview the night's Democratic debate. In anticipation for the debate, Mitchell and former Hillary Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri asserted that the downfall of Elizabeth Warren and the lack of early support for Amy Klobuchar is because of their gender.  

While appearing on MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle Wednesday morning, major Democratic Party donor and Nevada businessman Stephen Cloobeck rejected the notion that socialist Senator Bernie Sanders could win the Democratic nomination, even labeling the far-left lawmaker an “anarchist” who “would love to burn down the United States.”

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough says of Joe Biden, "I'm not doing his bidding. I'm just telling you the truth."  And the truth, according to Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, is that Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders would be weak candidates, whereas Biden would have the best chance of defeating President Trump.

On Nicolle Wallace's MSNBC show, Chris Matthews urges Bernie Sanders's primary opponents to "punch" at him, and tell him, "you're full of it." He warns that with Sanders as their candidate, Democrats could lose 49 states, as they did in 1972 with far-left  George McGovern. 

On Tuesday afternoon, MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing decided to check in with one of her favorite Democratic activist groups as she looked ahead to the 2020 general election. Having promoted the group Swing Left leading up to the 2018 midterms, Jansing touted how the organization was already working to “build a war chest and a volunteer infrastructure” to defeat President Trump in November.

In the skewed world of Charlotte Alter, the center is liberal 2020 candidate Pete Buttigieg and Barack Obama made voting an “act of love.” MSNBC on Tuesday brought on the Time magazine author to explain the state of millennials politics and how her generation will “transform America.” The book, The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For, pulls its title from a Barack Obama speech.  

Despite the fact that Joe Scarborough has left the Republican Party and is cheerleading for any Democrat to win in 2020, he still occasionally pretends that his advice is to help his former party, not just ensure an endless Democratic majority. Scarborough on Tuesday talked to former Barack Obama senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer and promoted his new book. 

MSNBC Live host Stephanie Ruhle invited New York Times columnist James Stewart on her Monday show to discuss the latest controversies sourounding Attorney General Bill Barr. Among the things discussed was the letter signed by 1,100 ex-DOJ officials demanding Barr resign, two of them-- Joyce Vance and Matt Miller-- rounded out the unbalanced panel that wondered if Barr is "un-American."

MSNBC liberals scolded their Never-Trump peer Tuesday, for labeling Bernie Sanders’ message as, “free stuff.” On MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle this morning, ex-Republican Steve Schmidt argued with Princeton professor Eddie Glaude over Sanders’ radical record and appeal with Democrat and independent voters.
