Last Friday evening, Twitter permanently banned President Trump from their platform; Google and Apple immediately followed suit by banning from their app stores  “free speech” platform Parler, which conservatives flocked to as an alternative to Twitter. Even as President Donald Trump called for peace, social media companies purged posts and his video and restricted his accounts, with at least two platforms removing his presence indefinitely.

Once again, Facebook has been caught hosting a far-left group that harassed a sitting senator at his home. “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) tweeted Jan 4.

Once again, one of Facebook’s fact-checkers has failed to acknowledge the facts — this time surrounding the origins of COVID-19. Now, even a leftist source has begun to concede that COVID-19 may have originated in a lab in Wuhan, China. Contributor to New York Magazine’s “Intelligencer” Nicholson Baker questioned whether the virus was released either on accident or on purpose. 

Online platforms got to use their favorite tool in 2020 before and even after the election: censorship.

The absurd Big Brother micromanagement by social media of postings by individuals can be seen reflected in the recent labeling as "false" by Instagram of a post linking  Joe Biden's 1994 crime bill to mass incarceration.

MRC President L. Brent Bozell denounces Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) for aiding Big Tech companies in their fight to suppress and restrict conservative content. AFPF filed a lawsuit, following a FOIA request, for communications between the Department of Commerce and conservatives working to stop Big Tech from unjustly censoring conservative content.

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell will be sending a letter to several House Committees calling for Congress to rein in Twitter, Facebook and Google after the big tech companies dramatically and obviously worked to elect Joe Biden and to censor bad news for Democrats.

It’s a Christmas miracle. In a stunning turn of events, Facebook has actually lifted one of its methods of censorship that it used during and after the election. Now that the left is sure it won.
