CNN Newsroom was roughing up Facebook on Friday for enabling violent "far right sympathizers" searching for body armor and "firearm accessories." But anchor Poppy Harlow suggested Facebook just needed to fix its content policies, while Parler is somehow beyond repair. 

There’s a high price to pay for banning President Donald Trump from social media platforms, and both Twitter and Facebook are feeling the massive bite out of their wallets for doing just that.

Twitter and Facebook have permanently banned President Trump from their social platforms. Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and attorney Sidney Powell have also been permanently banned as Twitter announced a purge of “accounts dedicated to sharing content related to the far-right QAnon conspiracy theory.”

Big Tech still isn’t done cracking down on conservatives. Facebook, Instagram and even Peloton, have decided to remove “Stop the Steal” content from their platforms.

Even as President Donald Trump called for peace, social media companies purged posts and his video and restricted his accounts, with at least two platforms removing his presence indefinitely.
