Anti-PC comedian JP Sears told his social media followers that Facebook is threatening to deplatform him. Sears is known for his counter-culture comedy, which takes jabs at subjects like political correctness, the liberal media and Big Tech. “Hey family, looks like my days here on Facebook are numbered,” Sears told his audience on Dec. 8.

The Wall Street Journal reported that “Facebook fears” violent retribution if it kicks Hindu extremist groups off the platform.

Many Facebook employees are leaving the company because the platform does not censor enough. Several workers have recently left, citing concerns over “US political content and hate speech,” according to Buzzfeed News.

Facebook has received a couple of early Christmas presents this season. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and a coalition of states and territories have gifted the Big Tech giant two lumps of coal in the form of antitrust lawsuits.
